Charming small troglodyte resort with 5 cave houses . Amazing accomodation fully equipped and preciously restored. Hammam (SPA) with masajes and treatments, typical restaurant, bar, tea room, swiming pool, cave for kids in the middle of the country side. Panoramic views and beautiful sunset on the terrace.

Reviewed By jchapman47What fun! We spent one night in one of the cave houses, and couldn't believe how warm and cosy they were even though it was a frosty night in January! Delightfully quirky, and yet well equipped and comfortable, this was a great experience that everyone should try. We also enjoyed our time in the spa and walks around the property with my two dogs. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and very patient with our attempts at Spanish! We would highly recommend a stay here.

Reviewed By camper11-11Located about 15mins walk to centre of town. Stayed Fri and Sat mid March. Easy friendly check in. Roadside parking easily available. Plenty of stairs and no lift. Stayed on top (3rd) floor. Double bed, bathroom with shower, shower gel and soap provided. No safe and large wardrobe. Also had a balcony with sun all day. Room, like the rest of the building, nice and clean. On our first night we walked into town for some delightful tapas and upon return we stopped by the restaurant at the hostal. Big mistake, we should have eaten there.. Had the best tapa, a plate full of pork and chicken, in town. Unfortunately I forgot that it was closed on Saturday,

Great value and very friendly staff
Reviewed By mwesiWe stayed here as it was on the way to Granada from Valencia. The single room was quite small but had everything that one would need and it was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was fine, and there was a good working heater as it gets chilly in the evening. There was also a TV in the room though I did not try it out. The staff was very friendly and we were directed to an excellent restaurant, Casa Grande, just up the street. We were also pointed to a nice local place for breakfast in the morning. There is no on site parking but finding a spot on the street was no problem. We drove 5 minutes downtown in the morning to have a look around and were pleasantly surprised at the history and attractiveness of Baza. All in all this is a great stop for a day on your way to or from Granada and it is much cheaper than a comparable place in that tourist hub.

Reviewed By GoShow71Difficile da raggiungere (soprattutto quando buio) perché non è sulla strada ma nell’entroterra quindi si lascia la strada e si segue uno sterrato per 600mt circa. Il parcheggio è interno e quindi sicuro. Ci si trova a dormire dentro una collina, con le sale/stanze scavate nella roccia, in un ambiente incredibile che vale certamente la pena provare. Il gestore è gentile e offre una colazione mattutina veramente ottima e curata (qualità e non quantità). Non prende il massimo voto per un dettaglio ed una mancanza: il dettaglio è la necessità di rimanere nella sala comune per godere di TV e WiFi. La mancanza è il riscaldamento che si basa su un camino a legna. Questo va bene ma nel bagno è necessario poter usufruire di qualcosa di dedicato

Reviewed By MariaM12558Después de leer opiniones, hubo dos (una de Juana Molano y otra de Cruiser258082) que nos hicieron dudar,, por suerte descubrimos que para NADA la descripción que dan las personas mencionadas corresponden con la realidad,, cierto es que hay cámaras? pero están en las zonas comunes, entrada y exteriores, nunca en habitaciones o cuartos de baño, pude comprobar que son totalmente homologadas con la empresa Securitas Direct y son parte de la alarma y seguridad del alojamiento, ya que al ser un alojamiento de turismo están obligados a tenerlas, la cocina funcionaba perfectamente, con menaje completo y abundante, todas las habitaciones disponen de ventilación, el dueño muy servicial, el personal de manteniendo estuvo muy atento en todo momento, es un alojamiento rural, en el que hay animales pertenecientes a algunos vecinos como gallinas, gallos, gatos, perros etc (qué aportan parte del encanto de la zona) , puede ser que en las afuera se encuentre algún excremento de los mismos (nunca dentro del alojamiento ni en la entrada del cortijo) los animales que pertenecen al cortijo son dos perros que están perfectamente cuidados en un sitio vallado de alrededor de 600 metros cuadrados acondicionados para ellos (ojalá todos los animales estuvieran así), los exteriores son una pasada, las Fotos y vídeos del cortijo corresponden 100% con la realidad, nos lo hemos pasado de escándalo, tanto es así, que ya hemos hablado con los propietarios para volver en navidad

Clean and simple
Reviewed By Teefee61The rooms are clean, modern, if small, and mine had a tiny terrace with a great view of the town and hills. It's incredibly quiet in Baza, and I slept well; I found the bed to be very comfortable too. The staff were friendly and polite. It's a small town 2 star hotel, and should be judged accordingly. However, on my arrival one Sunday in May, no-one was in reception, but I fsoon ound the receptionist in the bar/ lounge. After that, she disappeared and I didn't see her the rest of the day. The bar was locked, and there was nowhere to get a drink (water would have been excellent), anything to eat, or anyone to give help on usual travel issues. There was no choice at breakfast, not even one piece of fruit or yoghurt, and I was served coffee, orange juice and toast whether I wanted it or not. They advertise their restaurant, but it opens for lunch at 2pm, and not at all on Sundays.

Reviewed By Y5772UMmanuelalUna vergüenza. Mi pareja llevaba hospedado allí 3 semanas y tenía reservada una más, cuando llegó y se encontró con su maleta en el pasillo. Alguien había recogido sus pertenencias,las había colocado en la maleta sin su consentimiento y sacado a las zonas comunes!!! Le han comunicado que tendrían que cancelarle la reserva hecha para la semana siguiente porque les había entrado una reserva por Booking . Le han devuelto el dinero y le han dicho que se buscara la vida. Cuidado cuando reservéis una estancia en esta pensión, no vaya que tengáis que dormir en la calle. Lógicamente los demandaremos porque no son formas de proceder.
