Our rooms over look our pool with Tikki hut,front room parking, all rooms have refrigerators/freezer,coffee makers,Free High Speed internet,Hair Dryers,Body and hand shampoo,Cable,Heating/Air conditioning,Free local calls/voice mail,covered outside sitting area,non/smoking/newly renovated,Choice of one king,queen,double bed or two doubles.Golf packages/group packages available.Free breakfast,Laundry facilities,Designated pet rooms.

Reviewed By 130roycI prepaid for six nights,but had to check out two nights early. Despite 24 hours notice they refused to credit me for two nights. This poor customer service should not be tolerated. Extremely loud air conditioner, no pool, no breakfast, and faulty lights.

Reviewed By V3459PKmarkhStayed here for the 12 hours of Sebring. Checked in and when the manager/Owner found out we were there for the race he raised the price on the room to a ridiculous rate! We had to get to the track and would not be back until late and after earlier checking and not being from area took the room. WHAT A MISTAKE! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! YOU WILL REGRET IT. There are many other motels and any are better than this one!

Reviewed By GusNSpencerDisgusting. I should have turned around and walked out as soon as I saw the condition of the room. The tub was clean but very stained, the bathroom had a hole in the wall from the door hitting it and the door itself was peeling at the bottom. The headboard of the bed ad a gouged hole and I had to ask for extra towels as 2 of us were staying there. The front of the refrigerator was all rusty. Because I had pre-paid for the room I dealt with it for 3 days. I called Choice Hotels with my complaint and they were trying to appease me with some points for "future" stays!! Trying to reach Choice Hotels is as bad as staying in one. On hold for at least an hour (I'm stubborn and don't give up). I tried filling out a complaint form online and wouldn't go through.. Lousy company will never again choose Choice Hotels.

Reviewed By RetiredonceAfter trying other local establishments on past visits, it was time to visit Hunnewell's during our most recent trip. Dan and Katrina are absolutely some of the nicest people we've ever met and absolutely the most hospitable innkeepers you'll ever deal with. The beds were comfortable, the room was spotless, and the entire establishment gives a traveler the feeling of being welcome. Our days of trying to find the best place to stay while visiting family are behind us; we've found our Avon Park home-away-from-home!

Reviewed By gold-vintnerThis is one of those motels out of the 1950's but you can tell that they have maintained and updated it. No carpeted floors.....laminate that looks like hardwood. Room was reasonably clean but a little dark.....One of the light switches was broken which did not help. Room had a microwave, mini-fridge and TV.....the bed was good and that probably was the most important part of our one night stay. I made my reservation by phone and was quoted a price that included tax. However, I was charged that number PLUS taxes.
