I invited 24 friends to visit Samoens with us and forgot to plan any restaurant reservations. So with 24 hours notice I called Lâaccueil savoyard to see if they could host us for dinner the next night. Despite being off season and typically closed they made the extra effort to open and serve what was an absolutely delicious mix of traditional foods, wine, and even some homemade liquors. A big thank you to the family team there and a lovely location I highly recommend!

This is a better than average restaurant serving local Savoyarde food (fondue, tartiflette etc) and other things. Good staff and a warm, buzzy atmosphere. Like all other restaurants in Samoens it is busy, but nobody tried to rush us.

This used to be the Clarine. It has been totally refurbished internally and very well done too. Not a large choice but excellent food. One of our party was grumping a bit about small portions, but he moans about everything. Don't know about the wine, we stuck to beer. The Mont Blanc Blonde (pression) was excellent and only 5.50⬠for 50cl which is cheap for anywhere in Samoens, never mind a restaurant.

Restaurant run by a hardworking family, served us with nice dishes. We enjoyed cheese fondue, large vegetarian salad and tasty meat recipe. Drinks and bread were refilled quickly. The ambiance is actual and clean with simple decorations. Recommend to make reservations in advance in high season.

The Sérac's biggest problem is that it is almost always fully booked! But when you do remember to book in advance, the hearty portions of Savoyard cuisine (raclette, fondue, tartiflette etc) and friendly serving staff make for a good meal. The kids menu and range of pizzas also make it an great place for families. The décor is a bit kitsch and tired, but if you really fancy melted cheese in a convivial atmosphere, you can't go far wrong with the Sérac.

Great little restaurant on blue âDahuâ run down into Samoëns. Friendly patron and staff, great alpine food at reasonable prices. Note this is a chip free zone so not seen any young children on any of our visits. Fondue with cepes was best we have ever had! Reserve a table to avoid disappointment or call in for late lunch and then very short ski home at the end of afternoon.

We went here for my partnerâs 50th, and she is vegan. I was amazed at the care and attention given to us to make us feel welcome. This place was not only able to make an amazing food for the vegan, but all other meals were top notch! When asking the waitress about local wines she fetched the owner and he recommended the perfect bottle for the meal. Loved it! But the topper of the whole evening is that we forgot a phone on the table and the waitress ran down the road to return it to us. That is what I call FULL SERVICE!!! Amazing!!!

Fantastic relaxed dining with great food. Lovely attentive staff, smashing wine list. Canât recommend eating here highly enough, great place to go with family and friends to enjoy good food. Try the ribs or the burger but they have options for veggies too ......... not the norm for french restaurants but this isnât your normal french restaurant.

I canât say or add anything more than everyone before me - this restaurant really was fabulous. The service was exceptional, I canât remember a time when the staff have been as attentive and friendly to my children. The food was sublime and the ambience, being a small restaurant, was very intimate.Our bill was â¬211 for 4 of us. However my children ate 3 courses, my husband and I had two. We shared a lovely bottle of wine which was â¬38 and I had a cocktail on arrival and my husband a beer. All in all, considering the quality of the food, we thought this was good value to be honest.The whole evening was great!We will definitely be back next year, without hesitation.

February halfterm and the resort was heaving..yet every lunch time Tom and his team accommodated 14 of us. The service was impeccable and the food was always delicious! The staff especially Brian and Tom were always friendly, attentive and happy to enjoy a joke and chat with us! Will be back next year and most definitely will return..the best restaurant at the foot of the slopes! Thank you so much ! We are happy that our customers take time to leave a comment on this website !
