Asheville Bed and Breakfast Inns | Places to Stay in Asheville

April 22, 2023 Dorsey Hagwood

If you’re into eating locally and supporting sustainable agriculture, go to Asheville—and eat, eat, eat. This town of less than 100,000 people has 17 farmers’ markets, and the local restaurant scene is all about taking advantage of the seasonal produce sold there. And don’t miss the area’s microbreweries.

Disappointing.

Reviewed By Mark M

This hotel was disappointing.  The hot tub did not work and that was the main reason we choose to stay there.  Also, the computer was difficult to use and you could not logoff which means info you entered was retained.  I was able to view 57 email addresses for guests.  The channel guide on the TV did not work and the TV reception stop working altogether on the  2nd day.  Would not stay there again.

The Inn is located close enough to town to be an easy Uber/Lyft ride to the downtown restaurants and breweries, yet it is in a quiet historic residential area. The amenities were outstanding and the hosts were very accommodating. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and viewing the mountains. After our evening out, we had a relaxing after dinner drink on the back porch in view of the lovely gardens. We will definitely return.

Breakfasts are fabulous and innkeeper so friendly. Lovely front porch too. Warm cookies and wine late afternoon too!!!!

North Lodge on Oakland Bed and Breakfast

The best Asheville Bed and Breakfast (B & B) in Western North Carolina. We are 1.4 miles to the Biltmore Estate, 1.2 miles to Downtown Asheville, 1/2 mile to Mission Hospital and very close to Mountain Area Health Education Center aka MAHEC. Always affordable luxury with free wireless internet! Our guests experience an unforgettable stay with great cuisine, comfortable bedding and the ability to mingle with unique individuals from all around the world to share life stories. Our Lodge is decorated "Rustic Industrial" with woods, metals and leather accents that exude a spa feel. Each guest room has warm decor and it's own ensuite bath. Our home was "purpose renovated" to be a Bed & Breakfast in 1995 with special care to insulate noise between all rooms unlike most historic B&B's that have paper thin walls. Your hosts welcome you into their Speakeasy "The Flask & Barrel" with host/owner Kevin on select weekend evenings for social hour. Arrive as a stranger, leave as a member of the North Lodge family. Many of our guests return often as they realize unlike staying at a Hotel, North Lodge B&B is an unforgettable experience. We provide a 2 course breakfast each morning at 9 am, however due to staff shortages I can no longer dietary restriction other than vegan or vegetarian.

Beautiful 1905 house in lovely neighborhood, walking distance to town, and the best breakfasts we have ever had. Food quality and prep were simply amazing. More like a high end restaurant as they try to accommodate your dietary restrictions, if you let them know prior to check in. Coffee, tea, and tasty cookies always available. Lovely sunporch and outdoor terrace for guests. Super comfy bed, sheets felt like 600 thread count. We had a lovely, lovely stay here and will definitely be back!
