We were traveling through town, and enjoyed our dinner here. The owner greeted us twice while we were dining (a very nice touch!) Small points off for not accepting credit cards and being out of diet soda. We really liked our food and complimentary pig skins.

Almost because the brisket, though thinly sliced, was tough. Almost because the Texas toast on my sandwich became so soggy it disintegrated and quickly became a fork sandwich. BUT the flavor was excellent. With a better structure and tender brisket this would be one of the best sandwiches ever. Almost great. So much so I will return soon and try again. Excellent Cajun sausage and the three pepper sauce was outstanding. Great sides, especially the baked potato salad. Loved the atmosphere, great beer selection. Looks like a fun place on Saturday night. Almost great. Almost.

We may not be "bbq experts", but we do know good food and plenty of it and that's just what Fat Daddy's gave us. We thought the three-meat combo was exceptional, but the waitress thought we deserved better and brought us out another plate of brisket, cut the proper way!! What a treat! Pulled pork, cole slaw, mac 'n cheese, fried pickles ⦠we tried it all and it was delicious!!

The food and service were just okay. I was expecting a much better experience. How could a place called Fat Daddy's not be awesome??? We had the BBQ nacho appetizer, it was fair. The four meat plate was definitely a full plate but the beans that are bragged about in the menu are not much better than canned beans. The meats were alright. The onion rings were outstanding!!!!

My wife arrived on a Thursday for lunch and were greeted and seated immediately. Nice atmosphere for a new restaurant and very nice restrooms. The chicken, pork, and brisket are all outstanding with not too much smoke but just enough. The two bbq sauces are good with the mild more tomato hint and the hot with chipotle pepper kick. I really licked the hot better but you could also mix. The coleslaw is made fresh daily. We both spilt the 3 meat combo and it was plenty for two with 15 ounces of total meat and four slices of Texas Toast. Itâs two drinks we ate for under $25.00. I highly recommend and will come back. Outstanding service and food.
