According to a 2006 Special Census conducted at the request of the city government, the population of the city is 27,717, ranking it as the state's 16th largest city, behind Texarkana. However, in the 2010 census, the city population increased to 30,681, making it the 12th largest city in the state of Arkansas. As of 2014, the population increased again to 33,625. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city of Benton, first settled in 1833 and named after Missouri Senator Thomas Hart Benton, was formally chartered in 1836 when Arkansas became a state.

I am not big on chain restaurants, but Texas Roadhouse is an exception!! The service is outstanding! The food is first class and atmosphere is fun!! It is sometimes a little loud, but overall it was a First Class Experience!!â¤ï¸â¤ï¸Highly recommend!!

We arrived and were seated immediately. Our server Erica did a okay job, but the kitchen was so off course it ruined the rest of our stay. We tipped Erica $5 on a $26 Bill, so she didn't pay for the kitchens mistakes. My wife had the Cajun Chicken Pasta and it was not hot, not warm, not room temp. I had the Chicken Fajitas and they came out without the tortillas and condiments. The rice was not warm, barely room temp. Wife had coffee and they were out of creamer. We asked Erica to take wife's food to microwave to heat and all she could do was complain about the kitchen and try to get a manager. Nate came by, heard our story and just stood there. All we wanted was hot food, not excuses from Erica or Nate. We won't return. We're sorry to learn about your experience. Being serve cold food is simply unacceptable. We have been going here for years, heck we was going before the bar was a real live bar and business was dying. For a few years it was dependable for tasty food , clean environment and good service. However our last three visits have lacked tasty food (not cooked to order), loud , disrespectful in general. On 1 of the 3 visits the waitress was awesome! I know why go back? Itâs local and has been better than normal Applebeeâs in the past. I honestly hope they get their cook , management style in line and become the Applebeeâs they used to be again.

Enjoyed the Philly and fries; food was good, a nice variety and family friend. The bar was nice, plenty of seating throughout; it is a bar, it does smell strong of smoke but I didn't notice anyone smoking inside. The Philly Fries looked awesome. Was with a party of 12 everyone enjoyed the food and we would return for another meal when in back in Bryant.
