Sa Voga is a small, hotel Boutique. It is located right in the middle of Arenys de Mar an old seaside town very close to Barcelona. The hotel's name, Sa Voga, comes from the word that was once used to refer to this part of the town and it was chosen in order to bring the name back. The hotel has been built in two typical Catalan houses. (dating from the C.XVIII and the C.XIX). The constructions took place in two different periods. The first part was built in 2010 and the second one in 2016. In both cases, the intention was to preserve the charm of the original building while adding modern touches to it so that the hotel offers comfortable and contemporary facilities to the guests. The result is a cozy and quiet hotel that is pleasant and well equipped so our guests can enjoy it either with their partner or their family. We hope you like it! Welcome to A Corner of the World !

There is nothing the family and staff are not prepared to do to ensure your stay is as pleasant and stress free as possible. It is ideally situated in the centre of the town of Arenys de Mar and therefore close to all amenities including the beach, restaurants, and train station which serves Barcelona and beyond. We cannot recommend Sa Voga more highly.

L'Hostalet d'Arenys de Mar is a small familiar guesthouse. Renewed completely in August, 2016. The hotel has double and triple rooms. Also a bar/restaurant where it is possible to enjoy a great variety of beers and tasty meat in the Argentine style. L'Hostalet's terrace offers with views to the church and the sea. Located in the old town, only two minutes' walk from the principal street and five from the beach and the maritime walk.

Reviewed By TomTurbo101This Hotel has so many flaws: 1) I got checked in into a different house than displayed in the internet 2) the room is not super clean - hairs from previous guests and dust. 3) I specifically asked if I can charge my bike: yes that’s possible but I had to carry it 2 floors up through the smallest staircase 4) the heater is off. So a chilly room 5) the walls are paper - you can hear every word from the neighbors 6) no view onto the sea - instead into a random street. 7) shower head is broken 8) the window doesn’t lock 9) not even a cup/Glas in the bathroom

A hostel suitable for a family with kids
Reviewed By happylifesafariIf you are after a chilled-out accommodation, in a great Spanish town, for a great beach holiday, then this place is for you. This was the first stop on our Spanish road trip and it didn't disappoint. Our kids are 9 and 11, so having bunks is still not a problem for us. Two single beds were pushed together for my husband and I, and we all found the beds super comfy. A little fridge was enough to keep a few drinks and tapas in, which we enjoyed on the rooftop. We had a little balcony with no view but big enough to hang out with our swimmers, after a day at the beach - which we did daily. The wifi was good - I had to work so it was very handy. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and a great start to our day. It had everything you need and after the first morning the host knew our coffee order and would just bring it over to us. I would definitely stay here again.

Depressing shabby room for solo traveller at high price
Reviewed By Noemi BI booked a single room to attend a friend's wedding in Arenys de Mar. I was given a small (max 6 square metres) shabby room on the first floor with a window facing a big chimney or pipe and a wall right in front of me, maximum 1 metre in front of the window. The rate I paid said it had air conditioning, while there was no cold air coming out of the machine, making it difficult to sleep with the heat of this summer.The shower box was so small that a bigger person would not have been able to fit in there, and although I am 1.57 cm tall and not big, I hit my head three times against the soap container inside because of the small space. there was mould inside and outside the shower as shown in my pictures. None of the decoration shown in the official pictures was present in the room, as shown in my pictures. tthe hotel lobby had half of the lights down all the time, making it look sad and gloomy. I paid 130 eur for 2 nights, and even if I understand that August is high season, I think it is way too much for what is offered. Also, I think it is unfair to have been treated ad a b-class traveller simply because I was travelling solo, as I know that my friends who stayed together in an apartment on the same premise, got a much better deal. Travelling solo should be a reward as it should be for every traveller, not a punishment where you get stuck in a small room of 6 square metres with a window facing a wall in the middle of August at a beach place! I think that the owners should display more realistic pictures, and offer a much fairer rate for those small rooms.
