Run by a French man, this restaurant is quirky, authentic and can be a little daunting to the less adventurous. There are a rage of interesting items on the menu, from fruitbat to crocodile although there are also some less unusual dishes available.The service is excellent and the waiting staff very friendly. It doesn't feel like a five star restaurant, but then that is part of the charm. When I asked another diner how he enjoyed his meal (before ordering my own) he replied 'pleasantly surprising'. Enjoy

We were recommended this restaurant and I'm so glad we found it we have been twice and will return before we leave Madagascar. I have labelled it cheap eats because its really great value for the quality of the food, you get an aperitif, starters a main, desert and a coffee all for 18,000 Ariary (not even £6) Its a little difficult to find as you go through blue gates to the restaurant that is situated off the main street Rue Colbert you will see the menu attached to the gates. Its only got about 10 tables so evenings are worth booking as it gets busy. Don't confuse it with the anther restaurant Tartine (its fairly near it on the opposite side of the road) You must go to La Terrine D'Argent the owner and staff are super friendly and I cant stress enough the quality of the food for the price. The restaurant is not a high end affair but the food is, so go try it out and enjoy a delicious meal.

A nice restaurant with very kind staff: I had forgot tent my repellant and they provided me with a mosquito spiral. I ordered curry fish with saffron rice and it was delicious. The service was fast and efficient, the price very reasonable.

I ate in this restaurant once. I would definitely do it again. The food I ordered was delicious. The place is affordable like most of the restaurants in Antsiranana.

We went here twice in the last month, once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is delicious, the setting of the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is very friendly! Also the little bar area at the pool is very nice: cocktails are great! We will definitely go here far more often the rest of the time we are in Diego.

Das La Baie liegt rund 10-15 Min. auÃerhalb des Zentrums. Leider waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Das Essen (gegrillter Fisch und Calamari) war wunderbar! Ein groÃes Bier kostet 6.500 Ar. Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen!

I was staying with my wife on Sakalava Bay were Bea has a second restaurant. We had lunch and dinner almost every day there: cheap and so good ! Fresh fish, fruit, zebu and of course nice people !

Stopped here for lunch after a gruelling Madagascar trip before booking into the Grand Hotel. The restaurant was empty on arrival but nicely laid out for lunch. The choices of food was very good with a decent Specials Board too. Had a very nice lunch that didnât break the bank on the veranda overlooking the sea and beach. The staff didnât speak much English but we managed. By the time weâd left it was quite busy so thatâs a good sign. The food was very nice and typical Malagasy. The place has a decent Wi-fi too which is not always the case here. We can definitely recommend this restaurant.

With our stay in Diego Suarez we found a lovely place where food is great, menu gives great options and prices are low.Pasta Amatriciana was unbelivably tasty and perfectly made!But not only: the atmosphere in La Cambusa is amazingly friendly and Fabio and Lea ( owners of the restaurant) are very friendly and super keen to help you with tips and info for touring around.I m looking forward to visiting the place again.A big thank you to Fabio and Lea
