Reviewed By querinev2021This is such a nice place to stay. One of the best showers I had in Madagascar. Food is good and they have a breakfast buffet. The pancakes weren’t fully cooked but the selection was good. The rooms are spacious and you have wifi in the room! I would definitely recommend this place.

The gardens have the 'wow' factor from every angle and the attention to details is flawless. As someone who is highly 'visual'myself, I really appreciated all the loving care that had gone into creating this incredible oasis. The moment you step in, you can breathe better as it seems miles away from the hustle and bustle and pollution that's right outside. The breakfast was enormous (we couldn't finish it) and the room was exquisite too. Not just for the decor but for the facilities (it's actually the only room I had in 3 weeks where there was a kettle ! Bliss !). And a few sockets to recharge things ! Lovely shower unit too. All in all : truly THE best place to stay in Antsirabe and I truly wish the owners will have a much more successful 2022, business-wise, as this lodge truly deserves FAR more visitors that Covid permitted... Thank you both again for your kindness and for creating something truly special.

Reviewed By David94114Both my driver, a man of few words, and I both said the same thing simultaneously as we entered the compound of the Souimanga Hotel: “Wow!” The place is simply amazing. Surrounded by so much greenery, the place offers many places where you can sit back, enjoy a book or drink in peace, and listen to nature. The food was excellent, the wifi was strong, the shower was unbelievable, as are the nice, thick towels. The staff went out of its way to be very helpful without being intrusive. I’ve been in Madagascar for two weeks now, and have had no better sleep than I did here. As a single traveler, I didn’t feel isolated. It is outside the city limits, but it isn’t a problem, as you don’t want to leave this slice of Eden. Do note, the hotel does NOT serve lunch. I originally booked this hotel based on the reviews, and wholeheartedly recommend it to others. I can’t wait to return for another night as I finish touring southern Madagascar. Note: I booked my stay via hotels.com, which also goes under Expedia. When I reconfirmed my return stay as I was checking out, it had no record of my reservation. This is a problem with Expedia that many people have experienced. It might be a good idea to confirm your stay before arriving, or Expedia may deny you a night at this wonder place. There are only about four rooms.

Trapped us with an unofficial taxi brousse company (payed way too much)
Reviewed By 326jannikfThe guy in the reception gave us a wrong price for the taxi brousse to fianarantsoa and showed us a wrong Place in the map, where the official station should be. The next day we went to the place where only one unofficial taxi brousse was waiting. We took it for way too much money, because we trusted the Hotel. Such a big shame for this beautiful Country. When you are in a strange Country, you need to rely on the employees of the Hotel.

The gift shop has interesting stuff with reasonable price for guests to choose. The breakfast is most amazing. You can choose one or two items or all depending on your appetite for the same price we have previously paid. Even though I don't eat that much but knowing I have so many choices makes me happy already.

Pool looks inviting and massage is excellent 28 000 avr (£6.50) for 50mins. Only downside is the slow service in the restaurant- we ordered at 19.30 and food came at 21.00.

nice and quiet place to get some good rest
Reviewed By Thierry Rrooms are very big, plenty hot water available, in our there was a bath tube and kids enjoyed it a lot. garden is plus, there is also some playground for the little ones. staff is helpful and can be very handy, did wash the cars. would recommand malagasy breakfast, it was delicious and ideal before heading back on the road.

A light in the night
Reviewed By trillyepeterpanMe and my friends weren’t disappointed to choose this hotel that safe our trip. The owner was so helpful he opened the door even if the hotel was closed that day. The room is big enough and the bed has a real mattress and was comfortable only the pillow was not soft ( but this is my personal impression) The bathroom was so so but like i said, the hotel was closed at that time We liked the bar and his rum, very friendly staff Thanks again for your welcoming
