Comfortable quaint resort, good food, amazing service
Reviewed By mermaid028Room was comfortable, very clean, and the bed was wonderful. There's a nice pool too. Oh and they have a water dispenser that the guests can freely get from. That's a nice touch. Service both from the owner himself and the two staff are warm, personal and made us feel welcome. Food is not as cheap but well worth it!

Reviewed By MayDtotravelStayed at Godo’s all 16 of us. The hotel didn’t have a problem accommodating us. Very clean and the beds were very, very comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Food at the restaurant was delicious. The rooftop view!!! Sunrise and sunset view of Madja-as Mountain and nearby island of Mararison are sensational.The hotel is conveniently close to Malumpati Resort in Pandan and Bugang River considered the cleanest in the Philippines and Tibiao’s Cawa and waterfalls. Lots of river activities such as river tubing, kayaking and hiking to the waterfalls, island hopping are very close. All within a 35 min drive or less from the hotel. Highly, highly recommend!

The beach view was nice

Not sure what the other reviews are talking about being low budget, the price is the same as most higher end Hotels in IloIlo. There is nothing deluxe about the DELUXE rooms. Not sure if they can even qualify to be classified as a room as they do not have a closet or armoire. The bathroom was pathetic, no water pressure, no hot water, no toilet paper, toilet did not work, had to use the bath bucket to flush the toilet. Big sign when you enter, no out side drinks allowed. There was a few people in the pools when we arrived as they have posted prices for pool access. The only place that sell drinks is a little hut store by the beach. Had a beer, price was fair. Went to get another and was disappointed that I could not because they did not have enough money for change. The store was not capable of making change for the equivalent of a $20 bill. Had to go back into town for dinner as there is no options at this place. When we got back there was very limited parking due to all the motorcycle/side-cars that showed up. No assistance from the staff with parking for the actual guests. They just starred at you while you tried to park in the overcrowded unorganized parking area. The only indicated parking is reserved for who I assume is the owner. The pools were now packed with local children. The pool water looked dirty as these kids were running around everywhere. The pools leak causing water to pool up in areas around bed the pools. The cleanliness of the area was poor leaving multiple muddy area that the kids were running through as they were getting in and out of the pools. The pools got more crowded with kids as more and more motor bikes showed up. This place as a complete disappointment, do not waste your time or money going here. I don't know how they can call themselves a resort.

Reviewed By 244guillermosA hidden and peaceful resort in Libertad, Antique. An alternative place for those interested to have a private space of your own. You have to contact to make reservation for your activities and stay. Far from public transport, you need you need to arrange for transport service. Coming from Caticlan, Malay, Aklan, it’s about 45 drive from the airport on good roads. Entering the resort area is another story.

Reviewed By Rona SThe place is just 45 minutes away from Caticlan,near the Bugang River or Malumpati Cold Springs,very clean area and spacious 4 rooms. They have outdoor pool. This place is good for the occupancy for the family or small group. Food is quite high but taste good. Not a beachfront property. They have curfew hrs to use the dining area and the living area.

Reviewed By 591louisefOne of the highlights of our stay in the Philippines! Everyone was very nice and welcoming, the food is good, and the overall location is amazing. Bungalows are very simple but we did not go there to stay inside the room! Finally, the diving experience with their dive center was amazing (especially the day trip to Apo reef) Thanks to everyone for their help, especially when we had to book many tickets to go to our next destination! I highly recommend!

Best way of spending my money in a long time
Reviewed By thattravelboyThe bungalows are surrounded by forest and therefore it creates a very nice feeling of remoteness. However, the highlight is the staff here. The owner of the hotel, David, his family and friends are welcoming and always open for a good conversation that may even last into late night hours. If I will ever visit the Philippines again I will make sure to pay them a visit! Thank you for these two pleasant days we could spend here and all the best! Greetings Markus

Budget friendly, accommodating staff, delicious yet cheap meals. We had tapsilog and beef stew cooked with beans( super yummy )! The next day ww took a trike going to la escapo resort for tubing ans kawa bath

Great location but facilities need improving
Reviewed By 19Simon77Stayed here for a night with my girlfriend and we enjoyed our stay despite a few grumbles. The location is very pretty with a nice little beach looking across the bay and with a river running behind it. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. The food was average, I'd have to say. We certainly ate a lot better during the remainder of our Philippines holiday. Our AC unite stopped working during the night which made us realise just how hot and stuffy those chalets can get. Also, we were woken up by banging music being played by the restaurant staff at 6.30am which wasn't great. However, there was a party being hosted by the resort that weekend so I'm not sure that was the norm. Overall, rough and ready but decent value for money.
