Tucked away in the Ilha (turn left as you enter the Ilha and the restaurant is opposite the Poupala supermarket). The view over the bay to the Fort at night is great. The food quality is also excellent and prices are reasonable, They serve Indian, Chinese and Portuguese but specialize in Indian as the chef and owner are Indian (they are catering managers so know about hospitality and food quality. They will, however, make you any food you want with advance notice. The owners also really look after their guests asking if your car has arrived to take you home or if you need any help arranging transport. Two disadvantages: (1) wait staff is not well trained although they are kindly and try and (2) because the restaurant is open air, it encourages smoking by certain patrons.

Chez Wou was one of my favourite restaurants in the early 2000's - unfortunately it has gone down hill since then. The special Whole Fish and Whisky Flambéed Bananas was a hit.The service is still quick - but the food quality has been disappointing.

A small restaurant tucked behind the Skyna Hotel. It is popular with office workers for lunch when they serve a comprehensive buffet consisting of Asian (not quite Chinese) and Angolan staples. It´s bit pricey though. Dinner is very quiet. Service has gone down hill of late as the old waiters have left. The Yakitori chcken is great,

Not the first time i have visited this establishment however it was the first time i had take away. This is a very cosy intimate location nicely decorated with vibrant colours, staff are ok not very alert or attentive but on most occasions sushi is well up to par. On this occasion i decided to order a take away. Calling in the lady whom answered was helpful and assisted in my choice of sushi pack although i thought very expensive was well attended. I was told a 45min wait was expected so i arrived after 30mins expecting to wait 20mins for my food. To my disappointment i was hit with an hour wait and no such explanation to why it was taking so long with not even a hand full of customer dinning. Aware of they laps the chef prompted me he had added a few extra pieces for my inconvenience. Will not be doing take away again, dine in experience much better.

Right in the City…very good starters….Masala Pappad, Mixed Grill (Prawn, fish, Chicken and Kabab ), Chicken tickka – all were very good. Main Dish – Lamb curry, Prawn Masala, Naan , Basmati rice (offered with the main course) all were very good. Soft and tender – perfectly cooked everything.Place were empty, not that many people. Very mild lighting, so looks cosy. Service was very good. Slightly over priced and portions were comparatively smaller. A god place for those who likes authentic Indian food. Parking is a bit difficult there.

Was here the last night of my trip and I think the entire place seems different from my last visit in Jan 15.. But anyhow, it was a good change..Plenty of choices for food and drinks! Food was yummy yummy and the same goes for the drinks!Servers were friendly and service was good! Nothing to 'complain' except probably.. Table feels a little small especially when two men sit next to each other..
