I spent a weekend in Lobito and wanted to eat at the beach. Tripadvisor suggested Zulu, so we went there. The place was crowded. It was a Sunday afternoon. We had a Polvo à Lagareiro and a grilled steak with mushroom sauce. Dishes were well prepared and prices are not too bad.Passion fruit mousse had water on it, it could be better. But the setting, with that cool view over the beach is nice.

ArtBurguer is an artisan hamburger that came out just over a year ago, but has already conquered the palate of the Angolans. Avarice, gluttony, envy, anger, lust, laziness and vanity are not sins, but names of hamburgers in the space menu, because "ArtBur
We ate at the marginal and it was a very nice evening, cool breeze, and good burgers especially for Luanda. Prices are reasonable, service was very responsive and just overall a nice change from the typical restaurant environment. We have return a second time and both visits were very good.O ArtBurguer agradece a sua preferência, aguardamos a sua nova visita :D

Portuguese-Angola cafe diner with icecream! Outside seating. Mixed local and contractors. Very fast service with basic fish rice, chicken rice dinners for $20-25. Beer $1.50 for a small beer and $4 for a pint. Walking distance 100 meter from Hotel Tropico
Service is friendly and attentive. The food is fresh with good portions. Kitchen can be a bit slow. Above all the joint has a good vibe with a diverse clientele. I recommend it.

This is a lovely restaurant decorated in African style. Service is attentive and quick, the food is very good and prices are reasonable for the quality. The live music on weekends is also very good as is the taped music when live is not available. A lovely place to chill and enjoy Benguela.

This restaurant is great. The first time we visited they were pretty full but the host found us a table in only a few minutes. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely responsive. They have beach front access.

Don't expect anything special from this place. I went with a friend for dinner and we had dinner on the terrace which is very dark. Only Portuguese speaking people so be ready. I had codfish, which is one of the speciality of Angola (ex Portuguese colony), which was nothing special, it was thin and full of bones. My friend had picañha, and also the meat wasn't great. Maybe we were unlucky but the place is not worth for money. Paid 15,000 kwanza (almost 100 dollars at official change) and left disappointed.

Fusion food restaurant by the sea at Ilha do Cabo and vibrant club at weekend nights
Leaving in Luanda, you will end up one day or another in Chill out, next to the same owner's ex-magnificaent Coconuts, on Ilha. There you'll get the fashion, people all dressed up, good service, and acceptable world sophisticated plates, hopefully well served. Nice atmosphere, excellent caipirinhas, overall a very pleasant place to eat out with friends but do not to be astonished by the food. Bill is ok, for such a high end luandan restaurant.

Best place in Luanda's island to lie on the beach. Great decor and a very clean place. Beach space well organized and confortable. It has also a good restaurant, with good food and very good portuguese wines, although a little pricey.
