Terrible

At first I was expecting an amazing stay. Staff were excellent. Photos looked fabulous. Arrival was a whole new experience. Stuck right up the back in a dirt site with a hill that made it difficult to park our van and we couldn’t extend our awning. Worst park we’ve ever stayed in and cost $75!! Never again!

Waterfront Apartment

We have stayed at the Great Ocean Road Resort on many occasions. We love staying here as there is lots to do with the kids. It was lovely to see work has been put in around the complex. The 2 bedroom waterfront is a great space but would have been nice to see some upgrades to the room. Last time we stayed, it had a washing machine, but it has since been removed. With small children, it would have been helpful to have this facility available to us, particularly when staying more than 2 nights. Overall, we love staying here and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Excellent venue for groups

I love the Big4 parks. Particularly when you've got a lot of friends meeting up for an event. Anglesea is well appointed, neat, friendly and comfortable. We had a cabin and it it housed a bunch of us for a weekend sojourn. A pity we were there in the off-season but at least it was a lot quieter. It's very close to the "action" at Anglesea which is really the water. As a sea kayaker, I can say it would be a very convenient venue for a group event just like the bigger parks at Umina and Bateman's Bay but this time we only had a couple of kiddy kayaks to play in the river. The WiFi is pretty bad, though. A couple of repeaters would fix this as the park is not enormous.

Mediocre

Found a broken shower head on one visit to Anglesea in August 2016. Functional kitchen facilities and a comfortable living area. Room service was fairly average although the Wi-Fi does not really work.

Cute but needs improvement

I appreciate the splash of colour, however I don’t think it’s worth $200 a night - still a very basic room. I stayed at your other property last time down the road and it was a lot more comfortable. The bathroom has no space at all , lack of iron/board/hairdryer. Room wasn’t made up when we were out all day. A smart TV would go a long way - Small things that I would expect for the money spent.
