The sushi was very well executed, and recommendations from the chef gratefully received and eaten. But the Hosomaki was indeed very thin and the preparation very very slow. We got bored, finished what we ordered and went elsewhere for more food! Thing is, the place is set up so the preparation can not be seen. You sit looking at a wall of granite, the chef too high up for you to watch the process, which for me is all a part of eating sushi.

Lovely environment in old stone building with an assortment of different level tables, chairs and stools. Very friendly and helpful staff who bring drinks to the table If ordered at the bar. Good wine selection, cocktails and excellent fresh tuna tapas.
