Fantastic restaurant
Reviewed By maribelm252We are housted for two days. The hotel is perfect because is close to Masella ski slopes. By the other hand, the service of the restaurant is very nice. Carles is very helpful and friendly!! The room is clean. Only one negative point, there is no wall brackets into the restroom. We will come back again.

Hotel de montaña y familiar con diferentes Habitaciones y Apartamentos situado en la localidad de Alp en el mismo Pirineo catalán, en las faldas de la estación de esquí La Masella y la Molina. Restaurante con una cocina tradicional todo hecho en casa con mucho mimo y productos Km0. Garaje de pago, guarda esquís y en breve taller de bicis para los locos del pedaleo.

Just a couple of hours drive from Barcelona through beautiful scenario we stayed for a couple of nights with friends & enjoyed 2 days on the snow. The mountain here at Masella is lovely and peaceful, full of locals who do not speak much English, but we really liked that about it! Even though we did not speak any English the hotel were brilliant with us and we overcame the language barrier in the end. The rooms are really cosy with gorgeous views of the town and the mountains...oh, and the food is absolutely delicious!

Apenas a unos pasos de los remontes y con las comodidades propias de un apartamento de montaña: chimenea, cocina, terraza y parking cerrado. Además con un minimarket al pie por si se te olvidó comprar algo.

Really surprised when they let me park my motorbike in their garage and although a small thing the scrambled eggs were cooked to order, not micro waved. The shower was powerful and every thing clean so this hotel punches above its weight - Thank You for a great stay.

Yes the staff are 100% horrid and the hotel is run by people that are made of stone. So un helpful if you have any problem at ALL!!! They will not budge on any request for help you may ask of them!!!! WIFI!! What WiFi? That doesn’t even exist so if you need to access WiFi for work etc then they DO NOT have it so be warned. We were taken on a wild goose chase to many of the rooms in pursue of any signal and it was not possible to get signal in any part of the hotel/apart hotel. We were told it’s a blip at the mo but that’s not the case. There is the most disgusting odour that is near the bar area, not nice when trying to enjoy a drink (that’s if you can get a seat in the small bar area for such a large hotel). The smell continues into the corridors of the apartments and in the bathroom of the apartment. The apartment is not fully equipped, as described, we had to boil water in a saucepan to be able to make some tea/coffee and there is no way of making toast. We paid for an apartment with a balcony and we did not have one. After asking at the front desk they said they didn’t have one and basically it was tough!! We had the description of a balcony on our booking confirmation but they were not interested in what was written at all. The apartment was uncomfortably hot and we were not sleeping due to not being able to open the sky light in the room. We had to leave this hotel if w head any chance of rest and being able to ski. The hotel did not give a damn about us and argued everything we spoke to them about. If you ever need to cancel or re-arrange then be warned they will not budge. There was no way they would compensate us in any way and was happy to kick us out of the door when we asked. We left and booked into the HG Molina which is well worth the extra money and right at the foot of the slopes. You may be thinking of booking this place due to its location but believe me that’s all it’s got. Ask yourself why this place may be the only place that has rooms left? Alarm bells should ring!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The worst customer service, stole my money

I was unable to communicate with the hotel to cancel when the restrictions were announced. Nobody picks up the phone and they reply an email after 4 weeks! I have been. charged and never even got to properly talk with anyone about this since they are so unresponsive

Reviewed By WorldmonkeyLondonBooked a family duplex room at La Collada as our original hotel in La Molina closed unexpectedly before the end of the ski season. It’s a really great hotel. The views are exceptional, staff lovely and kind to the children, and restaurant genuinely excellent for breakfast and dinner - particularly considering the location in a remote part of Catalonia. Rooms are perfectly good also - clean and good bathrooms in particular. Kids loved having their own ‘bedroom’ on the top floor. Location totally fine for la molina - 10 minutes to huge car park at pista larga for lessons and nursery slopes.

Ski rental services and classes right next to the hotel. Buffet restaurant at the hotel and there are other restaurants nearby.

Reviewed By Susan BWe totally enjoyed our 4 days here. The family that runs the Xalet is super firendly and helpful. They always have smiles on their faces. The dinners were absolutely delicious. My fellow traveler mentioned that she would prefer non-gluten and they had non-gluten for her at every meal without her asking again. The grounds are beautiful. When I needed to contact my next night's lodging and my phone didn't work, they were happy to make a call for me. I would absolutely stay here again if I were in the area
