Not a typical Hampton stay
Reviewed By 388PaulaJI am a frequent Hampton Inn hotel stayer and this Hampton was a disappointment. This hotel is in need of a renovation! The bathroom baseboards had mold. The bedroom had small black bugs on the curtains that flew around and landed on our bed. Looked to verify no bed bugs were there. We stayed on a weekend (Friday - Sunday). Friday night had high school sports teams there so breakfast the next morning was all about getting your breakfast and going to the room to eat, as the long high top table was “closed”. And only 3 tables and chairs were available for sitting. The room keys didn’t work most of the time. Front desk said not to put it near cell phones as it desensitizes the card. But apparently just putting it in your pocket with nothing else desensitizes it as well. Super disappointing for Hampton Inn. Should I travel to Alice, TX again, I’ll stay elsewhere.

Reviewed By lavanac2017I reserved two rooms for one night. I called directly to the hotel approximately 2-3 weeks prior and spoke to a gentleman about changing from one night to two nights. I gave him BOTH confirmation numbers for them to be updated. He changed it and I specifically asked him if both rooms had been changed and he confirmed that it had. I asked if I could get an email confirmation with the changes and he said that he couldn’t. When my Dad and I arrived, only the second confirmation number had been updated and when I spoke to the lady checking us in she said that only the second confirmation number was showing for the day. So, my Dad and I had to share a room. She didn’t even attempt to see if there were any other rooms, only that there wasn’t anything available. I had to sleep on the couch.

The buffet was delicuouse bewakfast lunc and dinner. Superb service . waitresses were on point and i couldnt have asked for better service. I will return hwre time and time again i recommend this place to everyone and the rooms were spotless and cleaner rooms will not be found anywhere in Alice Tx. Oyo hotel is the place to stay

Reviewed By 298evangelinaaPaid for 2 rooms for 3 days all the times my kids and I went to the pool, water was spilling out from kids playing in the pooland the owner came out and said for us not to make the water spill out and told us to get out of the pool and we also had visitors with us and he told my visitor that he had to leave and move his truck off the property and he was not allowed to be here if he wasnt renting a room. This owner is VERY STRICT!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO RENT A ROOM FROM HERE IF U WANT TO SWIM AND HAVE VISITORS and have a good relaxing time. ITS THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

Alice Motor Inn is a cozy little place to stay in the hub city of Alice, TX. The motel provides clean, comfortable accommodations at an affordable price to business, leisure travelers and the oil field sector. Accommodations are available for daily and extended stays! The new management has started extensive remodeling to the motel. Remodeling includes: Central A/C to individual window units, New doors with electronic locks, single handle shower faucets, a new roof to the motel, resurfaced parking, landscaping and much much more.

Reviewed By Joy KThere was something spilled and running down side of tub. Horrible calling or something like that in bathroom. Awful smell, on & on, won't stay here again. Go to best Western. Price was way too high for this dive, disgusting!

Reviewed By Global48673609274This room was not what we expected and cost more than other rooms on our trip. The staff was courteous. The rooms could have been cleaner. The rooms smelled somewhat. This was not a good value and I would not recommend this room to anyone. I wished I would have traveled further to a nicer room for less money.

Reviewed By fave1632Hotel was run down although they were doing construction while we were there I understand it was newly sold but IHG should never allow one or their hotels to get so run down Curtains were barely hanging on windows, black mold outside on bldg,trash outside, mold in bathroom, vents in bathroom were filthy. Extremely loud due to construction Pool area was occupied every night with construction workers grilling and drinking beer Breakfast attendant wore house slippers instead of shoes Can’t say we’d stay again Internet worked only parttime
