This is the worst Chinese food in Cochrane. We ordered some for take out and did not finish the meal. We through out most of it. Will never order from here again.

I can be really brief here. We ordered Beef Sate Noodle soup or Pho. They do not call it Pho on the menu... and it's really really not! $9.95 and we were served a bowl with weak beef broth, noodles, a touch of Chilli oil and some chopped green onion floating on top. The beef slices, I will say, we're ample and good quality. What we were NOT served with or in our Sate soup (even after we asked) was; lime wedges, bean sprouts, basil of any kind, peanuts or Sate Sauce/flavouring. Beef slices soup with poor flavour... We gotBeef Sate Soup (Pho)... An epic fail!I can tolerate variety, but this was just cheeping out and not providing a fish that resembled what was ordered.This is one Vietnamese Restaurant that I would give a big pass.

All the good reviews that I have read about this restaurant are true. The food is absolutely wonderful. It is fresh, properly prepared and delicious. The staff are friendly and cordial. In my opinion, the best restaurant in Cochrane.

We chose this restaurant because of the sandwich board that was outside the building. Great lunch ideas for an excellent price. We felt so welcomed by a lovely young lady when we walked through the door. The service was excellent and the chef came out and talk to us as well. Really nice restaurant. The food was excellent! I would definitely go back.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Two meals out of four were very good but two were average and not very inviting. Maybe different choices off the menu would have made a difference but bland is an apt description for two of the dishes. The service was average mainly due to the order that the food was presented from the kitchen - serving other tables as well as ours meant not allfood receibved at same time.

Matsuya was the first sushi restaurant in Cochrane and it is still, by far, the best. We have eaten sushi right across Canada (including Toronto and Vancouver) and I always welcome the chance to come back to Matsuya for their balanced flavours, unique plating, and Mika and Joe's genuine gratitude that you came to visit their restaurant. Pricing is mid-range but that's to be expected based on the quality of their ingredients. No fillers, no cheap ingredients, just top quality. And the flavours that they present are off-the-charts good. If you have a discerning palate, you will appreciate what itamae Joe does with balancing sweet, spicy, salty, and plain. It's an experience. Oh, and they are pretty fast too. Recommend the Volcano Rolls - can't get enough of those.

Our hostess had suggested a number of places, but we saw Yoshi Grill and decided to give it a look-see. Our hostess/waitress/sous-chef took all the time we needed to discuss our meal choices, which were gluten-free and not, and other features of the meals. The food was very good and very plentiful. A large number of choices of Japanese and Chinese dishes with plenty of variations. I think if one were a resident you could eat here every week and not tire of it or run out of good things to try. The price was very reasonable.

After many years (more than five!) of personal investigation I can sign here no better vegan restaurant in Southern Alberta exists! Something similar can be found in Edmonton and the rest of Alberta is not extremely friendly about vegans and their restaurant needs/preferences. Thai Onzon is ALWAYS clean, fresh and friendly and professional. Every my meal at this wonderful restaurant is a real EVENT. Last time I brought with me two friends who are hard core carnivores and they were amazed promising to come back next weekend! Personally I love everything about this restaurant being sure if You pay it a visit You will be literally happy You did it! O, yes, nobody will test are You a real vegan! Still, ALL food here is absolutely non-GMO, natural, fresh and ALWAYS CONSISTENTLY VEGAN to the last detail. Special is a rich selection of decadent cakes and cookies dairy and sugar free, mostly non gluten, too!

We went for dinner before heading out to a show with friends. Service was friendly and efficient. I had chicken vermicelli which was very good and wasnât loaded with MSG and salt. Would definitely return. Reasonable priced, excellent food and service, what more can you ask for?

Was craving sushi and popped in by myself one afternoon. I've avoided this place because I thought it was like "Edo Japan" but I was pleasantly surprised! Fantastic selection, lots of fancy and creative rolls but also the basics. They gave a free mini-appetizer, which was really nice. The servers were great, really friendly, and don't hover! I will definitely eat here again!
