In town for orientation at Bama and flowed the reviews to Avenue Pub. We were not disappointed. Tasty fish and chips, lightly breaded and very tasty. Bacon burger with fries was tasty as well. Fries were nicely seasoned, not just plain.Service was good, food presented as expected for a pub; in a basket. Overall enjoyable meal and lively pub atmosphere. Prices were reasonable for the quality and tatse.

Some call it a sports pub kind of place, but it's nicer than that. Much cleaner, too. Food was good. Service very good. Lots of room inside and amply space outside. There are plenty of TVs to catch sports. We'll be back!

Terrific bar and plenty of restaurant seating. I didn't eat, but the menu looks really. If you aren't sure of some of the beers on tap, don't worry. They're glad to help you identify what suits your palate. Sure, it's a chain and not a local, hole-in-the-wall kind of place--which is my favorite--but you need at least one of these kinds of places in your town.
