Adeje Resorts | Places to Stay in Adeje

May 14, 2023 Kelli Reichel

With the dramatic backdrop of 12,200-foot Mount Teide towering behind the resort, Adeje makes an unforgettable vacation destination. Adeje is less than two miles from the boisterous nightlife of Playa de las Americas, allowing visitors to choose whether to take it easy or to party. Bake in the sun on black volcanic sands before cooling down at a water park, such as popular Siam Park, or out windsurfing. Barranco del Infierno, Hell's Gorge, is a lush oasis, perfect for hiking.

Family holiday

We visited here in January and April the 2 of us and were so impressed we brought the family back in June. Very spacious rooms and outdoor areas with plenty space for privacy and quiet.amazing breakfast selection and ultra efficient and polite staff. Reception staff great and extremely friendly and helpful . Dining room never too crowded or queues. Highlight was mihaela one of the bar staff in the bigger pools bar...an absolute character always smiling and very endearing who couldn't do enough for us ..sad to say she wasn't there on our last couple of days but an absolute gem. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel which also is in a perfect position to visit the restaurants/supermarket and local market. Will look.forward to visiting again.

Great stay

myself and my wife stayed here for 10 days in early June, this hotel is great the staff are outstanding, especially dani and the entertainment team when they say all inclusive that's exactly what you get we didn't find any drink or cocktails that you couldn't have the poolside bar opens at 10.30am again anything from a coffee to cocktails. direct access to the beach from the back of the hotel,we had a Seaview room which was a nice way to wake up in the morning too. if you want to go outside the hotel there are plenty of places to eat and drink and shops too around as well. my only issue was as a vegetarian they was nowhere near enough mains choices for veggies to have I did speak to one of the managers about this and have found out since that they are going to be working on a new menu that will include vegetarian options as well. That said we are coming back to the gran tinerfe in October for my wifes 60th so apart from the lack of vegetarian options for me we absolutely loved it here what a positive experience it was, all the staff where so happy and positive all the time. They could be alot better at answering the emails that we sent prior to going or put it another way answering any of the emails that we sent prior to going. last words for Dani and his team Thank you.

Lovely hotel, very relaxing for a week. Stayed in the gold level with a swim up pool. If you stay in gold level you have access to the San Sebastián lounge which is situated at the top level of the hotel with its own private area with plenty of sun loungers and infinity pool. Gold level includes beer, cava, soft drinks, a daily sandwich or bocadilla and crisps and nuts from 10am till 6pm. For the price you pay it’s well worth the money in my opinion but could be costly if your a family. If your dining full board as a gentleman take long trousers for the evening buffet or you won’t get in. All in all it’s a great hotel and well worth a visit. Even if your not in gold level you still have plenty of sun beds and gear pools and really nice rooms.

Great stay

Just returned from holiday here and our stay was overall very good the hotel is very very clean. The rooms are very spacious especially for a family the walk in shower is a massive bonus however the beds are uncomfortable and you have to sleep with a very thin sheet so I would advise small children to bring blankets for comfort. There is a large variety of food but for small children who would expect chicken nuggets or sausages there is not much choice for children. Laura who greets the guests at the main restaurant deserves a massive credit she is so lovely with the children and makes them feel at home. The kids club is excellent and there is a large variety of activities for kids probably the best hotel I’ve been too for this. We really did enjoy this hotel and would return if the restaurant brings more variety for kids food. Overall great hotel

Firstly we wanted to say THANK YOU to all the staff at the hotel, the housekeeping team, mini bar team, restaurant and pool team, SPA team, to the entertainment team and management. Everyone looked after us really well and we are grateful for an amazing holiday we had thanks to all of you. Special thank you to the Las Villas team who were exceptional and worked very hard every day making sure all guests are happy. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, we loved the hotel grounds spread over various levels. Gardens are beautiful and everything is kept very tidy. We stayed in Las Villas section and the villa (Las Palmeras) was very clean, spacious and private. The service was absolutely amazing, everyone was very friendly and attentive. We found the breakfast option at the villas amazing, we also visited there for lunch every day. As we were half board we have eaten at all restaurants in the resort and none of them disappointed. The food was really good, including options for young children. One of the highlights of the holiday was an amazing show which started with a disco for little ones at 9:30pm, our daughter absolutely loved it! After 30 minutes disco there was a show, it changed daily, one was a Disney theatre, a magic show, an acrobatic show, opera singing and more, all of which were equally entertaining for adults as the children. SPA experience was amazing, one of the best relaxing massages we had. Children's club was also very good and thank you for all your hard work. Thank you so much and we will be back!

Returning to the Salome for the 4th time but with a two year absence, we were a little apprehensive as to whether standards had been maintained but we needn’t have been! From arrival and being greeted by friendly reception staff, to departure - we were made to feel welcome and special by all staff but particularly our butlers Elsa and Valentina for whom nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping was first rate and the pool bar staff were friendly and attentive with offers of cold towels, delicious cocktails and amuse bouches. We cannot praise the Sea Soul restaurant at the hotel highly enough: absolutely first rate food and service - and a lovely position on the seafront. There were one or two hiccups in the terrace breakfast restaurant with some staff having difficulties with the coffee machine and with the ordering technology but these were quickly sorted out. On the penultimate day we had a plumbing emergency in the early evening with water coming out of the shower drain and flooding into our bedroom. A quick call to reception and maintenance man Juan attended within minutes and rapidly had the problem under control and following that, housekeeping restored our room to its pristine state so that you’d never have known anything had happened. Great hotel and great holiday - we will certainly be back.

I stayed for 3 nights in early of June. Overall , they delivered what they stated in the website. However , as a Bonvoy titanium member , I didn't have a SNA offer but my 10 SNAs will expire in 30th of June. They couldn't offer me a better upgrade but they didn't. The lounge closed for no reason. I asked for a late check out but it seems upto a personal decision from their staff. I got a negative answer from one staff but I got a yes from another few mins after. They also have an empty snack bar.........sigh. With lower price from next door , they have a better sunbed and a larger balcony.
