Firstly I'm going to ponce on about having eaten sushi in some of the finest restaurants in Tokyo. So for the avoidance of any doubt I do know a little bit about Japanese food ;)There is no way on earth that 5 battered prawns should cost close to 20 Euro. You could get a full meal of prawns for that on the mainland. Secondly the rolls and fish were of good quality but not so earth shatteringly amazing that each portion of rolls or sashimi (wafer thin) should cost another 20 Euros a pop each. The place has a good location and is well set out and presented. I get the strong impression it serves as a way of sucking hard cash from the Russian high rollers who want a bit of class in their restaurant. If you are a mortal being with a very mortal bank balance I would leave well alone and save your desire for sushi etc until you are back in the land of the normal

The food was delicious, the serene atmosphere was relaxing and made the experience very calm. The service was especially good and I met three very friendly waiters who introduced themselves as Danny, Jonatan and Christian. As well as this the dishes were delicious - my personal favourites being the rice, chicken and especially the pork gyoza and miso soup. There are a variety of food options and quality taste; exactly like you are in Japan. Watching them cooking the food was so cool from the big fire (all perfectly safe) to the tools and unique Japanese sauces and they have napkins at the beginning to wash your hands, the hot water poured on top makes them rise and when the sushi arrives they put on a real show. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant to try. Definitely worth it...(Aoife aged 10)Dear Gary G,Thank you very much for choosing our restaurant Kamakura to enjoy japanese cuisine and for recommending your experience with other readers. We are proud to read that you enjoyed the service, food and atmosphere. We will share the wonderful impressions to the whole Kamakura team.Thank you very much again and we hope to welcome back very soon!Gastronomic Regards,Andreea Mihaela Dorlea - Public Relations.

We visited Restaurant88 with my partner and son and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We hadn’t reserved a table and it was very busy but the staff did their best to get us a table and we only had to wait about 5 minutes. Our waiter, Lucho, was fantastic, especially with my son. He was very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and they catered for my fussy 6 year old which was just brilliant and he ate the lot! We will be returning for food another night before we head back home to the UK. We most definitely recommend you visit restaurant88!Fantastic service and fantastic food!Hello! Thanks a lot for this kind review! We really want to thank you for your kind feedback and let you know that it was a pleasure to serve you!Greetings from Lucho and all our staff! On behalf of 88 Team we hope to welcome you back again on your next visit to La Caleta!Best Regards, Team 88!

San Hô Restaurant (adults only) offers a gastronomic experience with an Asian flair. A space with a Peruvian-Japanese menu designed to unite the best of both kitchens in a surprising and innovative Nikkei concept, in a marine-inspired atmosphere. A combin

Firstly, the service here is wonderful, as it is across the whole hotel. We opted for the tasting menu and each dish was explained wonderfully. I'm gluten free and this was no bother for the staff at all, who made the few small necessary changes for me with no bother, and I heard other diners with dietary issues being catered for with ease as well. I appreciated the drinks recommendations, and I had barely thought 'I wish I had brought a cardigan" when I was offered a beautifully soft blanket! The food itself was gorgeous- standouts included a clam ceviche with flying fish roe and a melt in the mouth tuna sashimi. Everything is plated beautifully and delicious. At €55 a head for the tasting menu I felt it was very good value too, especially if you have the hotel resident discount. Book for sunset, and sit on the terrace with a cold sake. Perfect!Dear Robyn,It is a great pleasure for us to read your words about your dining experience in our Japanese-Peruvian restaurant San Hô. It is truly rewarding for the whole team that our guests leave with good memories and we highly appreciate your recommendation. Also we would like to thank you for your comments about the service delivered by our staff, they work hard day by day to reach our guest expectations. It would be a great pleasure to receive you again and keep making you enjoy our Nikkei cuisine experience.Best regards,San Hô Restaurant Royal Hideaway Corales Resort 5*****GL
