We were given a larger room on a corner to help make taking the dog out a little easier and less intrusive to other travelers. Very nice that they even allow a dog. However, the room was seriously dirty and we spent our first hour cleaning it. Although it has sink, refrigerator and microwave, the cabinets are nearly bare for something to use to eat or drink from. The toilet would literally make this screaming sound when you flushed it, so if anyone got up at night, and flushed the toilet, we were all up. Hopefully, it auctions to someone with resources to update it. there was literally no where else to stay on a short notice, so I was stuck.

There had been some updating - newer shower head and sink, but the carpet needs replaced. Had 2 rooms. One room had a musty smell that the AC could not get rid of. Overall, if you’re trying to save money this is a good place.

Landscaped picnic area with playground, grills and picnic tables.

I called and was directed to drive to another door to check-in. Stood in a HALLWAY while my check-in was processed on a laptop...nothing prepared for my arrival...no preprinted sign in for a room already paid for... THEN they DEMAND an ADDITIONAL deposit of $200 because of my address!!!! I reviewed the listing and there was absolutely NOTHING in their fine print indicating that an address they deemed "local" (?) would be charged an additional fee. I showed it to the night manager and asked her where this policy was written. She ACKNOWLEDGED that this policy was not stated ANYWHERE, but she REFUSED to let me check in unless I had agreed to the extra fee. What am I supposed to do at 11pm? She was holding my room hostage. When I checked into the room, there was damage to a mirror, a bar missing from the towel rack, a chunk of wood missing from the dresser the TV was on, damage to the shower bar in the room. Not in good condition at all. I called the night manager and insisted she document it. As a regular traveler and user of Hotels.com I felt abused, mistrusted, and lied to. I insisted that they inspect my room and sign off that there was no damage to the room before I left. After all...if they can't be trusted to honor and follow their own policies, how can I trust them to not charge me for damages in a room that were there before I checked in?

The only thing that was missing was gunshots. Management does absolutely nothing to control the situation. We came from New York to cape cod to escape this very type of behavior. Stay away!!

Reviewed By debfr2021The room was clean & large. The bed was very comfortable. The price was good. This is not a 5 star location, but a good basic room in a very expensive area. The tv was frustrating. I saw the cleaning staff taking all bedding for cleaning not just the sheets!. That surprised and pleased me. Decore was average not WOW. Refridgerator worked great.

Reviewed By William Mstairs are steep to upstairs rooms. Motel is old , but is clean.. No breakfast available due to covid. We were not told this until we checked in.Pool looked clean, we did not use it ,too cold..We would stay again

The Cape Cod Factory Outlet Mall, the largest enclosed factory outlet mall on Cape Cod, is just a short drive from this West Yarmouth hotel. Otis Air National Guard Base is 10 miles away.

Reviewed By Man202020We checked in tonight (a Friday) and the place looked blah upon entering. Not terrible but definitely not the best. We had two dogs with us which is why we chose this place as a last minute get away. The price was high but still cheaper than all the other places on the cape. We quickly dropped our stuff off and went to grab some food. When we came back I used the restroom and saw a brown spot on the floor. I looked closer and grabbed a wet paper towel and wiped it realizing after it was dried blood. Upon further investigation I noticed a couple other drops in the shower and behind the toilet. Great now I am disgusted and am freaking out thinking about possible blood Born pathogens still lingering that I could’ve picked up. Yes, some pathogens can live up to weeks on dried blood. So clearly this room was only neatened up. I don’t want to know what else was left over. We were literally only there for 3 hours before I went to the front desk and we checked out due to the biohazard factor. We did not get a refund and the man at the desk said he would speak to the manager about our refund. I guess we’ll see what happens. It’ll be taken to the BBB if they do not resolved the issue. I never go places like this but such a last minute trip we thought it’s quick and can’t be that bad. Lesson learned!!!! Save yourself the time and disgust- go somewhere else.
