Reviewed By 845ilenekMy family and I booked only ONE day there after our Airbnb booking and honestly we were just better going back home. For starters, the people working the front desk area were so rude... On our booking it clearly stated that we had two non-smoking rooms because one of my kids have really bad asma. Yet again, the front desk did not care to help. We asked to please swap our rooms to non smoking and they just said “We only have those rooms available”... Very interesting because when we booked it online, it showed we grabbed two rooms without it, so it was very upsetting and confusing. No accommodations were given, and he even said “That is not my problem”... The whole night I had super bad migraines due to the awful strong smell of cigarettes and marijuana. I ended up getting really sick, throwing up all night because the rooms were just so filthy. My daughter who is 13 years old was coughing all night... Needless to say, you can’t expect too much out of a Motel; and I completely understand that, but given the situation that was our only option for convenience. Definitely save your money. It’s better to spend a little more money on a place more family friendly.

You will love the location
Reviewed By justdyedThis may be an older place, but it is well kept and right on the water. The beach is only busy on holidays, so you will fell like you have the beach all to yourself on non holidays. The stairs will keep you in shape. Just sit on the balcony and watch the waves, or try your luck fishing in the surf. You will have a great time. So relaxing being right on the beach. Pier 30 restaurant is a great place to eat in Surfside. Just minutes to Surfside and Galveston for more fun.

Reviewed By K7839TGjimrThis is a great value. It's clean and simple reminiscent of 1930s motor courts. It was a fun experience and perfect for the area. You're able to park right outside your room and many are stand alone units providing additional privacy. This is a small and cozy place that is better suited for families but still close to beach activities, industry and the city.

I could move in the same day and I was able to pay as I went since I didn't know when my job was going to take me to a new location. The staff was amazing and the rooms were spectacular. I had absolutly everything I needed and it was so quiet. I had my very own apartment and I really enjoyed how quiet and comfortable everything was. The in-room washer and dryer was the best. I typically have to pay or go somewhere else to do laundry.

Reviewed By aherna340086The room was clean and very comfortable. TV remote was not the best and it was mostly a continental type breakfast. The staff were very friendly and tried to help with the remote, but many of the available tv services were removed by the previous occupants.
