If you don’t like trains, the other floors and street side are quieter 2) if you are going to the Two Brothers Roundhouse for an event or just to session their great site-brewed beers it’s just across the parking lot and 3) the staff is incredibly friendly and runs a very clean hotel. And BTW the Metra train from Chicago literally stops next door. So convenient.

Chili's restaurant is just down the block and Wayter Payton's Brewpub is a short drive from the hotel. The Hollywood Casino is five miles away in downtown Aurora, Illinois.

Reviewed By pp42197769This was one of the worst hotel with poor cleaning standards, and very low quality and selection for breakfast. Stay away from the oatmeal, tasted like they were reusing two day old food. Rooms are dusty and bathrooms not cleaned.

Good Location but Room Needs Maintenance
Reviewed By AJA2309This hotel has an excellent staff that works the front desk and breakfast area. They were all so helpful when we had to extend our stay by a day because of a medical problem. The location is excellent near a lot of stores and restaurants. The grocery store is across the street. The breakfast was good, with hot items every morning as well as the standard cereals, breads, yogurts, etc. I would very much like some 1/2 & 1/2 for the coffee however, instead of all the sweetened creamers that were the only choice. Now for the negatives...our suite was in dire need of maintenance. Cleanliness was okay except for some cobwebs and a dirty bathroom floor. Housekeeping is not routinely done on a daily basis. But a lot of things in the room needed to be fixed. The bathroom faucet was leaking causing the entire box of kleenex to be soaked and the holder to be moldy inside. The louver bedroom doors had hinge screws missing so it was hard to close. The toilet paper roll was falling off the wall. The coffee pot was broken leaking water all over the counter. At least one and sometimes both elevators were out of order during our 4 day stay, causing my husband with bad back pain to have to climb three flights of stairs one night. The other big problem was the extremely low to the floor toilets. When I asked if we could switch rooms to an accessible one I was told all the toilets in all the rooms are the same. Be aware of that if you have mobility or physical issues where that would be a problem. That just doesn't seem to be smart when there are many other much better options available. I reported all the problems to the front desk and hopefully they will be fixed before our next visit. Bottom line is that I would stay here again because I like the location and I think with a little TLC it could be a 5 star winner.

Reviewed By Kim SWe went down to see my son who attends Aurora University! The beds are amazing and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Jackie, who is the bartender really made our stay. She goes above and beyond to make the best drinks, play music and make your good! I would highly recommend the hotel!! We will be back!

Hotel is horrible, there is nothing good about it. it is difficult to put in words how bad this hotel is. totally dirty, filthy, bed was not made, it had hair all over the sheets, bathtub was horrible. Owner came to bring a second TV and left the other one there. carpet is disgusting, everything is really bad. Pillows had blood. It was late so we could not go anywhere else had to sleep dressed for about 2 hours. Smell is horrible. No smoke detectors in room. Elevator is dangerous. Told the owner/operator about it and he said that they had a new housekeeping person and there was nothing else they could do, even after seeing all the hair, blood and dirt over the bed and pillows. I know that I cannot ask for a refund as I stayed there, it was midnight and did not know where to go, but will never stay here again. Did not even walk by breakfast bar, place looked dark and scary, we could see a little watered down OJ but just walked by and left running. Saying the hotel is bad is a huge understatement. Cannot believe how this chain is allowing this hotel to carry the brand. It is a total disservice to the chain and the travel community. I would recommend somebody go and check this hotel and remove the franchise name. I am even contacting city authorities as this is a health hazard My fault for staying here and not leaving but I would like to present an honest view

When I got up to look in the hallway, I saw a man wearing no shirt or shoes banging on the door next to mine. I called the front desk and they gave the man another door key to get into his room. The next morning when I spoke to the front desk people about what occurred that night previously, I was told that the man who was being loud was “retarded.” When I asked if I would be compensated or in any way reimbursed for the lost nights sleep I was told no. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody.
