Very cozy hotel in Saulieu
Reviewed By paulinerbThe owner is very friendly. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Beds are confortable. Rooms on the graden side are very quiet. The only disappointment was breakfast. We were expecting a better one looking at the picture on the website and the grading of the restaurant.

A special place, charming with good services
Reviewed By PaulSanderellaWe stayed here for two nights. The hostess is very kind, the room is OK, unfortunately very noisy because of the sounds of the neighboring rooms. The bed of the room we stayed in, was too short : I had to stick my feet through a metal lattice. The mattress had a dip in it, so we rolled towards each other at night. Breakfast is great and served at an attractive location near a romantic pond. The hostess also prepared two times a take away lunch for us and that was both times very tasteful indeed.

A great place to stay, we loved it
Reviewed By Anne NWe hired the "gite" (house) for 5 of us, then several rooms in the main building, as we were attending a wedding nearby. We stayed altogether for 3 nights and it was lovely. The gite has a very well equipped kitchen (we cooked a lot) and a great fireplace! The rooms were comfortable and clean. And the grounds.... how far can you run? We didn't use the pool as it was still early in the season.

Money grabbing cheats!
Reviewed By PeterK7962We arrived in our camper van and I asked if we could park overnight if we had an evening meal. They said yes, so we went for it. When the bill came, which wasn’t cheap anyway, they explained they had added 15 euros to cover the overnight parking, which I thought was distinctly cheeky, given they’d said nothing about a charge and we’re providing nothing but overnight parking. I asked them to add a tip to make up the bill to 90 euros but have subsequently found that they put 95 euros through on my card. Meal was ok but I feel very cheated. From other reviews, I get the impression that they’re very happy to rip you off! In my case, it was downright dishonest.

Reviewed By alexandra lBien que le logement soit bien situé , l’hygiène du studio laisse à désirer Glace à moitié entamée et fondue retrouvée dans le frigo et chasse d’eau des wc non tirée à notre arrivée. Propriétaire avisé de ces désagréments mais qui semblerait ne le dérange pas d’accueillir ses hôtes dans ces conditions d’hygiène . Je ne recommande pas .
