Gr8 rustic revamped room. Unfortunately no electric blanket as night was cold. A quiet room away from princes Highway . I was concerned about their recycling as a lot of cans, bottles etc the next morning were in trash bags when housemaids were cleaning rooms. The bags destined for landfill. A 20 min walk to town was an inconvenience but a Gr8 walk along Shoalhaven river

A pleasant Surprise

Reviewed By Stan E

We stayed at this motel on 18 December 2021 and we were very happy with the accommodation and we met the owner Wayne who was very helpful. The room was comfortable and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. Even though this motel is on the Princes Highway which is very busy at this time of the year we did not hear any traffic noise in our room. We have stayed at many motels and this is definitely up there for value. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Nowra

Not happy

Reviewed By eileenbV8433FF

After booking 5 weeks in advance while travelling to Nowra Motor Inn for an overnight stay we received a phone call to say they had no room for us. We'd had a confirmation when booking for a twin room on ground level as we are in our 80s. 10am on the day of arrival and they tell us they have no room for us. This was very distressing and inconvenient for elderly travellers.

Very comfortable stay. Good value. Very clean. Oldish style motel but bathrooms renovated with fantastic shower. Very comfortable bed in our king room. Nice big TV. Friendly reception. Parking spaces quite small. No services on Sunday but we were given extra milk and towels in advance and we went out for breakfast so no problems.

We only spent the night (12/11/21) but we loved our stay at this hotel/motel just off the A1 which is just outside Nowra CBD. We could not hear any traffic noise in our very large room, the room was spotlessly clean.. We had a good laugh with the owers when booking in and also when handing our keys back the next morning. (hoping to stay here on our return trip next week.

Nightcap at Archer Hotel

A place to rest your head

Reviewed By Jeepgal92

Our stay here was enjoyable. Fast check in. Inclusive continental breakfast. The bed was the absolute highlight. So very comfortable. Bathroom clean and modern. Separate toilet. Dan Murphy right next door or the Archer hotel situated on the same patch of land. What I would suggest though is to let guests know what the deal is with ordering room service. There was no info other than how to order, but no menu so you could. Also, when we walked in the dining room in the morning for the inclusive breakfast, the staff did their best to ignore us, not even a smile or hello offered. No info as to what was on offer and how much to upgrade to a hot breakfast. I’d recommend Nightcap at Archer for a comfortable well situated place to stay.

Good for couples, not for families.

Reviewed By hanathesw

We stayed here in a 2 bedroom cabin for 3 nights on our way from VIC to QLD. We have a family of 4 which includes 2 adults, a 4yr old and a 1yr old. PROS: - Verandah was lovely to sit on in the evening. - Size of the cabin was good, loved that there was 2 couches so everyone had space to sit. - Kitchen ammenities were great, loved having an oven/microwave/stove etc. Storage was good too. - Pool was nice and close by - It was nice and quiet - Loved that the doors were closable (not sliding) as it helps with our 1yr old who gets into everything. - The ladder for the bunk was removable, also good for our 1yr old who likes to climb. - Aircon worked well. - Bathroom was huge. - Hyams beach was nearby (30 mins), and we liked that. CONS: - Pool was freezing cold - No atmosphere in the park - Pool wasn't kid friendly and no other activies to entertain kids - Laundry was expensive and dryer way too hot, it shrunk a lot of our clothes - Not a great location, nothing to walk to and see - Most of the park is for live in residents which felt weird. Only 10 cabins are rented out to guests. - Cords for TV hang down, perfect for little ones to pull on and chew on. Overall, wouldn't go back here as it wasn't great for our family.
