Reviewed By flossy1155We picked this hotel whilst traveling to Ancona to catch the ferry to Greece. We were going to go over the Col de Cenis from Modane and down into Susa Staying in Piacenza and Rimini on our way to Ancona. When booking it on Hotels. com, it described the room as having an onsuite well it's a good job we had only booked for the night. We arrived about 3pm and we're met by a very smartly dressed lady we introduced ourselves me and my wife and were given our room key we went up to the room which was on the front of the hotel it was a bit dark but looked clean so we put our bags on the floor and proceeded to look round when I saw what they described as an onsuite. Next to the bed was a big Plastic Box which turned out to be the shower next to that was a curtain which had a toilet behind it and at the side of that was a sink. When we had used the shower we got dressed and went a walk round Modane to find somewhere to eat. On our return after finding the main light switch we saw that the room had black mould on the ceiling around the window quite a big patch of it and the walls seemed grubby next morning when we got up there was water on the floor so I had to put one of the towels on it on further inspection it looked like the drain pipe from the sink was leaking water into the room either from the shower or sink. We packed our things went for breakfast hoping that was going to be better. There were a few croissants which were the smallest we had ever seen .would we stay again no.

Reviewed By Peter LFriendly staff, clean and tidy hotel and room. Good value for money, no restaurant at hotel. No private parking, good location. We didnt go for breakfast as dont consider continental good value for money.

Reviewed By Jennifer BFound this small town for somewhere to stay,quite quaint,owners very friendly and spoke English,double room very nice all clean and fresh en suite looked quite new,good wifi in room,they did do meals but we opted to eat out but maybe wished we hadn't as restaurant meal we had wasn't brilliant,very quiet as normally skiing area. Breakfast wasn't exceptional really & we were charged more than price quoted.

Reviewed By 221zzLa description est trompeuse : - la literie n’est pas, contrairement à ce qu’ils prétendent, de qualité : leur vieux matelas à ressort n’est pas confortable pour un sou ; - les chambres n’ont pas de toilette : il y a un toilette par étage (10 chambres), sans lavabo ; - les volets ne sont pas occultants : en juin, il fait jour dans les chambres dès 6h.. ; - il n’y a pas de wifi ; - pas d’étagère où poser ses vêtements, ni « d’espace de travail » ; - les cloisons en carton et les vieilles huisseries sont des passoires phoniques, ce qui n’aide pas lorsqu’un voisin se lève tôt (ou sort de sa chambre, la nuit, pour aller au toilette de l’étage) ou que le torrent qui coule au pied de « l’hôtel », coule au pied de celui-ci.

Merci à Jimy, Tristan et Killian pour leur disponibilité, leur efficacité, leurs précieux conseils et leur constante bonne humeur. Accès direct aux pistes depuis le local à skis, idéal. Petite station familiale très agréable. À recommander pour des vacances en montagne en famille.
