A comfortable place to stay
Reviewed By DantesDameI feel bad putting "average" down, as everyone wants 4-5 stars. The hotel wasn't bad at all, it was just "average". The room was small but comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was...remote. You'd find it difficult if you wanted to walk somewhere for dinner. We didn't have a chance to try the restaurant since it was closed while we were there.

Simple hotel in quite town
Reviewed By sanookhansSimple hotel, clean, friendly staff, breakfast ok, nice price, quite town. We stayed for 3 nights on a short trip. Not far from Annecy which is a nice plade. Faverges is very quite, difficult to find a good place to eat.

Reviewed By Jean MThis hotel in a superb house is a little gem. Original, well equipped, correctly priced. For once the star ranking is fully deserved. Efficient welcome, nice garden, good wifi, a special mention for the well above average breakfast with fresh products. Would definitely come back.

Reviewed By Sk00tchThe couple is natural, charming, welcoming and interesting. We ate very well, our chicken tajine was excellent, as were the cheeses and the wine. Excellent home-made tiramisu. The children had a meal for them, and for once no nuggets and fries. The house is charming, beautiful building. Cleanliness on the other hand leaves something to be desired. Certainly, it must be taken into account that it is a guest house and not a sanitized chain hotel, but a serious effort is to be made. These points have been discussed with the owner, I do not know if it will bear effect. The rooms are tired and soiled, the bathroom very inconvenient. Hope this will be improved. If you are sensitive to house noises (wooden floors and stairs, old doors, etc.) and tobacco scent, do find an alternative.

No frills
Reviewed By MajorMumThis is a basic clean accommodation with a beautiful view over the valley. We had a balcony room, which had a good size and fine bathroom with shower. The price was absolutely okay for what we got. Note that the balcony is not really private as your neighbors can access it, too. Also, we never saw the proprietors of the place. They sent an SMS with instructions, left the key in the room and were not there when we left. Everything went fine though.
