Great Place to stay along the GAP trail!

We stayed in early June 2022. In all we had 3 rooms. The amount of care and thought that the owner's have given to their guests experience is truly top notch. Great rooms. Hot Showers! Great breakfast. Great bike storage and amenities. Owner allowed us to check in early and wash our bikes off after a very rainy ride. Provided tubs for our soggy gear. Everything is really well thought out. Wonderful covered porch was the perfect place to stay out of the light rain while wetting our whistles. Great dinner recommendations. Fantastic ice cream across the street. One block from a Sheetz's for supplies. Super clean and comfortable. On Site Laundry. Air pumps, bike tools, repair stand, e-bike chargers!!! We will be back. Yoder's for the win!

Charming Inn and Town

Reviewed By patrickdJ370RT

We stayed for one night to spend as a getaway and see all of Ligonier. The Inn is very charming, clean and close to the town square. We were taking a little trip as a couple and found our room and the Inn a very romantic place. We sat by the first floor fireplace for a while after going out for a very quaint and quiet dinner at Carol and Dave's Roadhouse. The town is very much a "Hallmark" town with so many great little shops.

Try This Place

Great Experience. I am a seasoned traveler and would come back to this motel anytime I’m in the area. I’m usually skeptical about non-chain motels and low prices but this was worth every penny. The room was super clean. Even cleaner than most chain hotels. The room had everything you needed for an overnight stay. It included a fridge and microwave, shower with powerful hot water when needed. Small lobby had coffee. It’s located on the north side of the highway up a hill so it’s very quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for a reasonable priced, very clean room for an overnight stay in Somerset I highly recommend this place.

Awesome getaway

Reviewed By Donna W

This place was spectacular! It's hidden away in the middle of nowhere, which is great coming from a big city where all you have is noise and crime. Dan makes you feel right at home immediately. The accomidations were very nice, nicely appointed, and clean. Only thing missing was a full sized tub. We hiked in Ohiopyle park, and it would've been nice to relax in a tub. Loved the sound of the water from the lake as it rushed outside our back door and bedroom, and even the train which passes by during the night. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, that's reasonable without the hustle and bustle of the city, you'll most certainly enjoy this place! Thanks again to Dan and Robin!

Heritage just what we needed

Reviewed By ruthsmalley

We had to come to Uniontown for family reasons. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We had to be at the Hospital and it could be walking distance if need be. The rate was much lower than the other hotels in town and well worth it. Any time we have to come back to Uniontown will definitely be at the Heritage Inn.
