Exceptional hotel with views of Lake Annecy

It was spotlessly clean, and the service was exceptional from every member of staff - including reception, the bar and the restaurant. The food and drink is also of a very high standard. We particularly liked sitting in the garden with a drink, gazing at the lovely lake view. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel on Lake Annecy
Reviewed By Voyage785995We had the pleasure of staying at Beauregard for one night towards the end of our skiing vacation. It was a perfect base for getting a flavor of Annecy and the beautiful lake. We had a family room which was small for 4 people, but as we were only there for one night that was OK. The breakfast is served in the hotel dining room (restaurant la bousolle for lunch and dinner) with a breathtaking view of the lake). There is a bike and walking path right below the hotel and it's about a 10-15 minute leisurely bike ride in to old Annecy. My daughter and I rented bikes at the hotel and made a great half day out of it.

A good location by Annecy lake
Reviewed By Leo EIt is a basic accommodation, but no hard feelings, everything is just fine, near the busy road, but noise is not disturbing, the parking is available, the (folding) bed is ok, the breakfast is good, there is a bicycle rent, which is not cheap (17 euro per day), but quite handy to get around the lake. (and a very nice bicycle lane). There is a Lidl supermarket nearby, as well as some restaurants..

Simply beautiful
Reviewed By gerryb110Stayed for 5 days. The apartment was simple, stylish and exceptionally clean and well maintained. The service provided was excellent with on time meeting upon arrival and helpful handover. The towels and linen were super and the underfloor heating worked really well on a couple of cold and windy days. Highly recommended for a stay in the beautiful area perfect for cycling, walking etc. Super - many thanks

Beautiful view, hotel underwhelming
Reviewed By mwbjennThis hotel is right on the lake with the mountains beyond. A room with a lake view is worth the extra cost as it is beautiful to wake up to. We hired bikes for our five day stay and cycled the 3 km into Annecy most days on excellent cycle paths. The hotel itself was tired and old fashioned. With its position it could be magnificent, but it is not. The family and staff, although friendly, provided poor service and had odd, old fashioned rules. Wifi, although free, requires a special ticket with separate login and password for each device, which expires each day, as though it is some valuable commodity! Pool towels are locked away and guarded by reception. When we asked for drinks by the pool, we were told that we had to have them away from the pool, presumably in case of broken glass. Perhaps plastic glasses would be an obvious solution. Air con is the clear comfort that is sorely missing. We were there in 32-35 degree heat, and none of the hotel was air conditioned. Breakfast was a buffet which was nice, but service was very poor. Frequently we would we waiting 20 or 25 minutes for any staff to materialise and take tea/coffee orders. When we checked out, someone was waiting behind me for 10 minutes to be served. A second senior staff member was working in the office, looked at the waiting customer and did nothing! A little basic refresher in customer service may be useful I think! With some investment and a business brain directing things, this hotel could be amazing, but it has a long way to go and requires the current family owner/managers to step aside. Such a wasted opportunity.

Village Club House, overlooking Lake Annecy and its mountain setting. Dream destination for families during school holidays (with children 3-17 years inclusive clubs), in full board. In spring and fall, you can enjoy the attractions of the area. Numerous seminars in our residence offers 150 rooms, 13 meeting rooms, 3 restaurants, a bar lounge area with fireplace and a 3ha park. An outdoor pool is available from May to September inclusive.
3 days stay - good location - fully renovated
Reviewed By Ben MSpent 3 nights at Neaclub, Les balcons du lac. The place has been fully renovated and the team is new as well. Very good hospitality from the staff, clean and quiet room. As it is more of a Village Vacances, better ask if you want some hotel services. Good breakfast and very nice view on the lake. For another 20.5 euros you can enjoy the buffet at night including beverages. No problem for parking.
