Joyce the manager is very accommodating and goes above the top to make sure we have everything we could need. Shannon in housekeeping takes care of everything else and always makes sure the rooms are very nicely made up. Then Randi and Barbara are usually the ones on night shift and are very accommodating and make you feel very welcome. They always have coffee and the breakfast ready. The location of this hotel is very convenient and in easy walking to what you need. The price is very good for the comfort and location of this hotel.

Nice lake views, old outdated rooms

Well, I reviewed this hotel a few times over the past 30 years. The hotel didn't change. The rooms are outdated and old. Our curtain was ripped in two spots and looked terrible. Not sure what's happening with this property, but I hope the new owners take the responsibility and remodel the rooms or bulldoze it down and build new. On a positive, the lake views are great and a short walk to downtown

Was tempted to give them 2 stars instead of 3 but trying to push through with SOME positivity despite my miserable night sleep. We stayed in the King Hot Tub Suite. When we reserved the room we were told they removed the sleeper sofa and replaced it with a queen size bed...not true. The miserable sleeper sofa was still in there. The photo on their website shows an additional couch in the Hot Tub room however there was only the one sleeper sofa. As a matter of fact, there weren't any chairs in the adjoining room either. So bizarre for a hotel to not have some sort of chair. It looked like there was supposed to be one at the desk, but NOPE. This made it challenging for the obvious lack of seating issues as well as the need to put our suitcase up on something (you guessed it, there also wasn't a collapsable luggage rack in the closet either). The icing on the cake was the really loud street noise. This room sits on the ground floor on a busy corner. The older door is far from sound proof (to the point where you can hear the conversations of people walking by late at night). The breakfast items weren't anything special but still it is nice that they offer something HOWEVER... I'm a tea drinker and they didn't have any tea options except green tea. The woman at the front desk said they were in t"he process of restocking their tea"...um there is a Super 1 right down the street, how difficult is it keep tea stocked? On a positive note, it did look like they were trying to repaint and update their rooms so that was nice on the inside. Quite contrary to the sketchy/shabby look on the outside of the building. We chose to stay there because it is walking distance from downtown. Next time I will stay at The Ruby Hotel and just drive to town. The Ruby Hotel is a MUCH quieter and cleaner hotel.

Disappointing

They double book our room, and put us in a small room off the hot tub. Upon entering the house smelled horrible. We were shown other options but none of them were as private as we had been expecting, especially with large gaps under the doors. The staff was very nice, the puppy was cute, but had left poop on the floor that looked like it had been stepped in. Was a very disappointing evening that left me in tears.

Clean, comfortable and affordable. Very helpful staff

My stay at Dynamic happened to be in the midst of extreme weather conditions. Nonetheless, I needed to be at the train station at 1: 30 AM. Vanessa, the manager, was kind enough to show me the easiest route and offered to arrange for someone to drive me in the snow, if necessary., Thanks to the helpful staff, all went well and it was a relaxing stay in the clean, comfortable accommodations provided. Dynamic is by far the best choice when visiting Sandpoint.

We love visiting Huckleberry Hill B&B! Gina is an amazing cook (flexible with the time of breakfast)and so welcoming and helpful with scheduling activities, the house is beautifully decorated, the beds and pillows are so comfortable, and Sandpoint is a great small town! We enjoyed two yoga classes, hiking, and wonderful massages at a nearby spa. Will definitely continue to return there!
