Good location, very friendly staff and value
Reviewed By Explorer91Stayed two nights in late March which we enjoyed. As a party we had four rooms and whilst we did take basic rooms, they were clean and perfectly fine for our stay. From speaking to others and my own experience the showers / bathrooms were the only 'downside' in the facilities - in that the shower cubicles were very small for larger men and whilst I had a slide-door cubicle I was told that others had a shower curtain which just isn't practical with small showers and not in my view hygienic as impossible not to have them sticking to you as you shower etc. We didn't have a chance to eat there for dinner but breakfast was perfectly good and we enjoyed some evening drinks in the bar. Staff are very nice and overall a good stay but would probably recommend a room upgrade from 'basic' - although I have not seen the standard of those rooms.

This visit was pleasing because standards have been maintained - everywhere was very clean and well equipped. Our fourth floor room overlooked the harbour on a beautiful sunny day. No hesitation in recommending. I would have rated higher if breakfast had a few less carbs (not ideal for a diabetic).

Simple hotel - does the job - great host
Reviewed By PeterEasyJetThe hotel isn't posh but it is friendly. The proprietor is great, can't do enough, recommends local restaurants, etc. Everything worked, room and bed comfortable, heating available for a sudden cold snap. We didn't check whether the proprietor could speak English.

Hôtel simple et vieillot, mais propre
Reviewed By Caroline PCe week-end du 15/05, nous devions avoir une chambre avec balcon et vue sur la mer, mais nous avons eu une chambre au dernier étage et avec une fenêtre trop haute pour voir le paysage ! La chambre, ainsi que l'hôtel sont vieillots, mais propres. La femme de ménage est très sympathique et nous a communiqué des endroits pour nous restaurer, étant en période de couvre-feu et de restaurants et bar fermés. Pas déçus du petit-déjeuner car on mange pour le tarif payé et en quantité suffisante. En revanche au niveau de la chambre, 2 ampoules sur 3 étaient grillés, et le sol de la salle de bain était abimé ainsi que les sanitaires. En revanche nous avons bien dormi et dans le calme. Si j'avais pu mettre 3,5 je l'aurai fait, mais je préfère tout de même mettre 3 (moyen) que 4 (très bien). Disons que pour une nuit, c'est bien, mais pas plus.
