Basically a good find in the middle of nowhere
Reviewed By mshbnyehudI had a pleasant stay at Inn at the Canyons, which I selected due to it's proximity of a 5 hour drive to SLC Airport. The accommodations are quite good, although I must admit it felt like I was in a Fairfield Inn -- but very clean and with good service. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and all of the basic necessities were explained. The pool looked very inviting but I didn't partake. A few minor matters: The AC system is old and it was difficult to program it to give me the optimal temperature for me. Ultimately I figured it out. Bring ear plugs. I also ran out of hand tissue and I didn't use that many to begin with. The shower has an excellent hard stream of water -- that was delightful. Breakfast was substantial and very well executed. For the price paid, however, I couldn't quite bring myself to rate it 5 starts. But the Inn is clearly the best place to stay in Monticello, UT.

Reviewed By EggettThe pros are: the towels were soft and the beds were clean and comfortable. It was fairly quiet so sleeping was easy. Plenty of hot water for showing. The cons are: the flood light on the out building shines right into the window . There was a broken chair at the desk in the room (1 legs is broken off). The table could not be tightened so it span around while trying to eat.

Charged for cancelled reservation
Reviewed By tjcolorado76We made a reservation online. We decided on alternate plans shortly afterwards. We tried to cancel online and there is no options to accomplish that. We called two days after making the resevervation and cancelled. A week later we had received no confirmation, so we called again and were assured that the reservation was cancelled. We got charged for a no show. We called to verify and they have no record of our cancellation and refused to reverse the charges.

Everything was waiting for me when I arrived. Self checkout as well. Hopefully my travels brings me back this way. I will return when I can

Reviewed By Sally TWe chose to stay here for 5 days and 4 nights when visiting Bear Ears and Cedar Mesa. Place was safe and not far to drive to the hiking sites. The owner Prasad was nice to check if we required any towels or amenities each time we were in the lobby. Our room was cleaned twice on alternate days and we did not mind that. Bathroom and carpet were clean and we had more towels than we needed. Most important was having a coffee maker, microwave and a medium sized fridge. We could hear the neighboring room's water running in the mornings which wasn't too loud but couldn't hear voices which has been issues at other chain hotels. For the price we paid it was a good safe stay!

Reviewed By BernieKamThe beds were good and slept very well. There was a good hot shower. The WIFI was adequate for personal use. The check in process was quick and with out problems. The staff was friendly. Now the BUT: The hotel manager is still using the COVID excuse to ot offer any breakfast and keep the pool closed. The price is post COVID. It is disgusting the most mangers (in fact the 1st one this trip) use COVID to go cheap on the guests. SHAME on YOU!

What a Gem!
Reviewed By giwpriestapWe spent 3 nights here and used it as a "central base" to visit several parks in the area and it worked out great! We couldn't utilize the fire circle due to the dry conditions...so we sat around the unlit circle after dark and looked at the stars. We saw deer wandering around...and cows. The directions to find the unit were excellent, as was all communication with the renters. The cabin was clean and very nicely done. We only had 3 people so there was ample room. Our best guess is that it would hole a LOT of family members. You just can't go wrong if you decide to stay here!
