Great hotel, great hosts!
Reviewed By Eric EI stayed for a couple of weeks while in Le Creusot on business. The rooms are simple, but they are large and spotless. Standard but good continental breakfast. There's no restaurant in the hotel for dinner, but there is a bar and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. But the owners are the real selling point: charming, friendly, accommodating and welcoming.

good location for a short stay in Le Creusot

The hotel it self is in a good location (le Creusot is a small town anyway) the building is a typical old french building (actually local peoples said that it the old annex of Schneider family residence). room are clean , well furnished but it's a bit old. Breakfast is ok ( no local Cheese which it's a down point for a french house). staff doing his best and it's pretty much appreciated.

Disappointing but still charming
Reviewed By RenataSheppardThe price of this hotel creates an expectation that this hotel, although charming, is not able to live up to. The restaurant is very nice and offers a good space for meals with family, friends or couples and I suppose in a town this small there is little competition. The room made an effort for decor but was very small with room for a bed only. There was no desk to speak of, only a ledge. The bathroom is open to the room with the thought of a dividing wall and absolutely no door, directly next to a sink and shower. Alone this might be fine but rather unmanageable in a couple or with a friend. A rack for a closet with one or two hangars. Breakfast is not included and costs a whopping 7€ although having tried to go elsewhere in town that is actually a good price and one of the better breakfasts with pastry, yogurt and coffee. If the price had been 40 or 50 € night my review would come from that perspective. For a small town with such minimal activity and choice this price was outrageous. Come to Italy's Piedmont region and for 80€ you can sleep and eat like a queen. Obviously city prices are higher but this place was just too humble to ask that much.

Excellent Location and hospitality of staff
Reviewed By SSHUPTADELHIExcellent Location. Room size is a bit small. well maintained. Staff is good and takes care well. The Food was very good. Breakfast was also reasonably good. The city fort and Church is just in front of Hotel. You can walk down to this place from railway station if you are travelling light.

Reviewed By filip420Les toilettes n'ont pas de porte et de la chambre ou de la cuisine vous voyez tout ce qui s'y passe. WC avec vue sur l'appartement et bien sur l'inverse! "Aucun payement requis, payez sur place" FAUX! on vous réclame le règlement sous peine de ne pas avoir les codes d'accès ............. absence d'accueil.......... Vous mangez face à un mur sur un tabouret, pas de table, pas de chaise, pas de fauteuil! On ne m'y reprendra pas, je ne louerai plus que de vrais appartements hôteliers ! Il est difficile de trouver des qualités à cet appartement, un défaut majeur occulte tout sens du compliment!
