Although there may not be people to greet you, there is a very warm welcome that includes easy instructions to collect your key and find your room/car park - which continues when you enter your room. Decor and amenities are high quality and the little touches, extras and inclusions make the whole place so marvellous. I loved the furnishings, decor and very good bathroom products/linen. The shower is fabulous and the bed is very comfortable. There is not much hanging space for clothes though, particularly if there is more than one person staying. Note too - there is no breakfast option or information provided, but there are lots of cafes within a short walk - all open early in the morning, great for early risers like me. I had dinner at the hotel next door, breakfast at cafes in the Main Street and there are lots of things to eat at the Saturday Market. It’s a great place - I recommend it.

Such a disappointment
Reviewed By jasonoF9040QWFriendly hosts is about all you get for your money. This might have been a nice little hideaway once, but hasn't seen a cent spent on it since construction. The entire place is in a state of disrepair, everything is dirty, covered in mould, dirt, leaf debris etc The room we stayed in smelt of mould and mildew, was in dire need of a deep clean. The ensuite was barely clean, shower cubicle was cracked through the tiles and toilet had to be fixed and it nearly overflowed. This got fixed while we were out, but the room was left unlocked, so belongings including a guitar were left unsecured. The blinds provide no privacy into the room as they leave large gaps, so you can provide a show to the other guests if you're not careful. The actual grounds appear to be completely neglected with old bits of pipe, plastic hose and other junk strewn around, didn't try the pool but I suspect that it would be neglected as well. The food that was provided for breakfast seemed OK, so went out to light the bbq to cook the bacon and eggs and found that it was caked with grease and left over food bits, was actually pretty disgusting, so we just through it in our little esky and left. Overall a completely disappointing experience. GIven the price of the accommodation and the pics of the rooms and surrounds I think the owners are being deceitful. Holidayers beware!!!

Angela is an experienced host and her background in quality hospitality shines quietly through in her attention to detail. The room was beautifully appointed and the breakfast to die for! The view over the pool seems to go on forever while the surrounding palms and birds a constant delight. Perfect! We visit the Sunshine Coast hinterland regularly and I can see this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Gridley Homestead is a beautifully restored traditional Queenslander with four guest rooms, each with a verandah and a large lounge/dining area with a cosy wood burning fireplace. Key feature is that the guest area is fully separated from the owners area. Each room has an ensuite (shower only), A/C and wifi. Then there is also a luxury stand alone cabin with luxury bathroom and kitchenette to make your stay even more special. The homestead is located in the historic village of Eumundi and just a short stroll to the famous Eumundi Markets, and only a short drive to many of the Sunshine Coast's attractions including Noosa, Coolum, Yandina and the Spirit House restaurant. Townships of Maleny and Montville are approx. 30 min by car. You can book with our delicious 2 course breakfast or without, if you prefer to enjoy the local eateries. Afternoon tea is provided upon arrival. Gridley Homestead B&B is your destination to explore the region or just to wind down and relax and do nothing.

Reviewed By thomasch2384From time of booking to arrival to the lovely cabin we stayed in and the very hospitable host, everything was exceptional. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. The freshly cooked chocolate cake on arrival was greatly appreciated, as was the coffee pod machine!

Reviewed By beckam3What a pleasant surprise, we stayed here for the first time on our way to the Gold Coast. From the moment we walked through the door the staff were so friendly and made us welcome. Meals, drinks & accommodation were all just perfect. We walked across the road the next morning to the Eumundi Markets, ( they are on Wednesday & Saturday mornings )and then headed off to the Goldie. Throughly recommend this place.

Reviewed By Steve MThe dates were actually 3-7 Nov 2017 We found this to be a lovely place. I proposed to my now wife in the spa to add some romance...obviously worked as we are now married. The host was absolutely perfect in giving us privacy etc. we spent most of the night out the back listening to the water feature. Very helpful by cooking us a beautiful bacon and egg breakfast. I’m considering this place for our first anniversary. The waterfall was nearby. Highly recommend

The Eumundi Dairy is a rural haven that has been in our family for two generations, and holds a special place in our hearts. Located in the stunning Noosa Hinterland and only 90 minutes from Brisbane, our property offers a quiet escape that is still close to the luxuries and comforts of city life. Accommodating up to 14 guests we offer 2 completely separate and self-contained holiday houses in a 6 acre garden, set amidst 60 acres of rolling cattle fields. Our property is also available to hire for photoshoots, workshops, classes, retreats and filming.

Reviewed By MespeyWe really thought we were going to have a fresh air farm experience .quiet A nightmare . No sleep the highway is next door. Endless traffic , trucks. Trains go by every 29 mins . Horrible. A horrible stay. The managers left - no goodbye. No instructions for anything . M Heard a noise - cleaners in our laundry!! No permission , no notice!!! Next day. No notice - somebody in our laundering - again !! Lawn mower guy. Made noise for 3 hours. NO RESPECT Never again
