Reviewed By StevenR3305It was clean, the beds were relatively comfortable, and the breakfast was free. It was a positive experience. I had stayed here previously and thought it was nice so I came back after having a terrible stay at the Staybridge in Downtown Atlanta and checked out of there early. Once I checked in here and got to my room I was put at ease and able to relax. There are plenty of different dining options in the area along with a movie theater across the main street.

Dirty Sheets and Urine Smell in Bathroom
Reviewed By tracyandfamI would recommend avoiding this hotel. It was the most negative experience I've ever had for a hotel stay. We went into our room and when I went to the restroom the urine smell was overwhelming. I saw splatters on the mirror and I could see splatters on the front of the minifridge. I also noticed handprints on the window. We asked for a different room and the guy at the front desk said to me, "This is our best room and if you don't like it, we have nothing better." The new room didn't smell so that was good - but then there were stains and hairs on the sheets, a long black hair on the bath towel, handprints on the windows, and the TV and remote continually malfunctioned. I was so ready to get out of there the next morning!

Reviewed By 147amberkNo breakfast was provided! Holes and Mold in the bathroom. Whole hotel smelled of Marijuana. TV only had about 3 working channels. Bed linens were stained and we had to go buy our own pillows as the ones that were provided were terrible. The place is very very outdated and nowhere near up to code to have guests staying there. Upon checking out another guest came in the entrance expressing concern about a large blood pool and bloody foot prints outside the entrance. The employee at the desk was not concerned at all, like it was nothing new, and just said the maintenance man would clean it up when he came in. It was ALOT of blood and stuff. Needless to say we loaded up and got the heck out quickly Beware!!!

NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THE LOBBY - POT SMOKERS HANGING OUT IN FRONT
Reviewed By LuvLoroIt's incomprehensible how anyone could rate this higher than terrible. I wouldn't send my worst my here. What hotel in Georgia doesn't have air conditioning in the lobby? Sinister types loitering in the lobby and around the front entrance. Clearly smoking pot right outside the front door. Smelled like spilled bear and was just grim and depressing.

Newly remodeled room... Brand new mattress
Reviewed By lbjiowaAfter spending a week at resort on Hilton Head island I can honestly say we had a VERY restful and comfortable night's sleep HERE!!!! The mattress was a very comfortable pillow top... New. I had my own pillow... Necessity for me. The only thing missing on our room was a waste basket. The breakfast is cereal or pre-packaged muffins or dry bread to toast. The coffee maker is excellent. The juice watered down. The lobby smelled awful! The only real complaint we had. Not sure why they don't just air it out. Someone smokes.. Allot... Really bag first impression. Thankfully the room made up for it. All in all... We will stay here again when passing through.
