Reviewed By catakadiEl alojamiento es una casa típica de la zona. Muy tranquila y muy agradable. Los dueños de la casa viven en un anexo de la casa. Son una pareja joven y encantadora, él taiwanés ella coreana, con un bebé. Te sientes como en casa. Después de todo el día haciendo turismo por la isla, volvíamos y siempre hacíamos tertulia con ellos. Tuvimos que marcharnos antes de lo previsto por la llegada de un tifón y ellos nos ofrecieron toda la ayuda posible. Merece la pena sin ninguna duda!!

Quiet and peaceful place
Reviewed By ongtay11Found the owner very helpful and friendly. The place was very clean and homely.Breakfast was limited only porridge. It will be good if they can provide some bread ,butter and jam for overseas traveller . Strongly recommended.

Peaceful w/ Friendly Owner
Reviewed By Luke LBeean is located in a village just north of Jincheng, the main town on the island. While there are much more picturesque villages to stay in, this village still had a few traditional homes, a couple small temples, a big banyan tree, and an old military bunker. Although not far from the main road, it was quite peaceful in the guesthouse and most of the time we just heard the wind and birds chirping. The home is traditional, Fujian style with a courtyard in the middle, with four bedrooms, a public bathroom, and a reception area that was also a living room. The courtyard and reception were both decorated tastefully and added to the peaceful atmosphere. The owner sent me a text message on the day of arrival. Although his English is extremely limited, he's very friendly. He picked us up from the Shuitou ferry terminal and drove us to the guesthouse at no extra charge. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so he allowed us to drop off our bags and drove us to Jincheng. That night, we hung out with him and a couple of his friends in the reception/living room, drinking great Taiwanese tea and having snacks. One thing that was rather misleading is that there's no breakfast served here, so calling it a "B&B" wouldn't be accurate. We stayed in the family room which was a loft with a soft queen sized bed on the first floor, and a double bed on the second, which was laid on the floor like a futon. A ladder connected both floors. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no heating in the room, so at night we had to ask for extra blankets and my parents still felt a bit cold. The shower has excellent pressure and there's a lot of hot water. Bathroom and bedrooms were all quite clean.

Reviewed By chienyuhsian八八小屋有一館和二館，此次入住為二館，二館附近有一間便利商店。主人非常好客，會介紹很多旅遊資訊。民宿雖未提供早餐，但在公用空間擺放許多食物（礦泉水、自製紅茶、冬瓜茶、飲料、吐司果醬、小餅乾點心、水果等）供入住客自行使用。入住的房型與圖片一致，非常的乾淨舒適，周邊有空地可以停車。訂房也可以使用通訊軟體與民宿主人接洽，非常方便。

Reviewed By Kelly MOur stay here was very good. The staff was very helpful - picking us up at the airport and helping us to rent a car. The facilities were very nice; the beds very comfortable. Our room had a loft - one queen bed on the main floor and two twins upstairs in the loft. Our teenage son was very happy to have the privacy. Also, the WiFi was high-quality. The location was a bit off the beaten path - no walking to find local shops or restaurants; a car is necessary.
