Reviewed By Jasminelilac1983It was a totally run down hole in the wall and misrepresented. It was a total disappointment with a steep price for slop. The beautiful gardens they brag so much about were unkempt and dead during the season when it should be thriving well. the wall socket wouldn’t even hold a phone charger and the refrigerator that was provided didn’t even work to cool anything. It was just for appearance apparently. So not worth a premium price of $147 plus for one night. The entrance was unpaved and so bumpy you could barely cross it. They provided a coffee pot with only decaf coffee. Almost didn’t breakfast because you couldn’t figure out how to enter the building. There was no service provided for anything to help while at the hotel. It was worse than any motel I’ve ever seen. The pool was also out of commission during our stay and couldn’t be used due to pollen and it had to be cleaned yet despite all these issues no discounts were even offered nor provided.

Know that they have been doing a lot of upgrades (High Speed Internet, Painting, etc..). This is a great location (close to I-75), close to restaurants and a Wal*Mart, great value for the money (Nice updated clean, comfortable rooms with wood floors/Nice beds/Desk/great AC), and very convenient - easy-in and easy-out - just seconds from your car door to your room, and quiet! Also has a nice "scoop" Ice Machine. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value for the price.

Reviewed By D6807KEthomassIt's quiet. The management is patient when necessary and strict when they need to be, They keep the property safe 24/7. There's a business park next door full of professionals. Food is nearby (they have a Big Boy - it's not a Shoney's, but it's as good, to say the least). The interstate is close, but it's not loud. It's a good place. Also, while I was staying there, they ran off some crazy guy, who was apparently dealing drugs and making a ruckus. I saw the cops watching his room, two-by-two and this dude actually tried to run away. Some of that town's finest, in action. Very professional. Franklin's the name of the town. Now I can say I've been through there. Thanks for the room.

Reviewed By mikeharless2017Checked in and appeared to be normal after about an hour my wife was reading and a bed bug ran across the pillow. Upon further inspection of the mattress skirt we found many more. We packed up got a refund as fast as possible and would not recommend staying here.

Reviewed By Michael GArrived 7/3 late afternoon after 55 miles on Miami Erie Scenic bike path. Wanted non-smoking, hot shower and clean. Clerk gave us 2 keys to inspect different rooms before check in. Room chosen was slightly dated but clean. Easy walk to downtown. Motel is surrounded by fast food eateries. Spoke to 2 other guests and they confirmed that for the cost, room was a good value. Stayed 2 nights.
