8 Motels in North Conway: Best hotel deals for 2023

North Conway, part of New Hampshire's scenic Mount Washington Valley, has been dubbed the offspring of a quintessential New England village and a Gap outlet. Historic buildings, quaint antique shops, bookstores and bakeries coexist peacefully with big name outlet stores like J. Jill, Nike and Dansk. For seasoned shoppers, it represents the best of worlds, part old-country charm, part new-world bargains. Plagued for years by busy routes and traffic jams, the new North-South road has made it somewhat easier to get around and enjoy all the area has to offer. In addition to shopping, visitors will find ample opportunities for hiking, biking, skiing and rock climbing in the majestic White Mountains. In fact, North Conway is home to the renowned International Mountain Climbing School, which attracts climbers from around the world. Accommodations range from cozy inns and historic bed and breakfasts, to full-service resorts, ensuring a comfortable haven for all tastes and budgets.

Good motel

The Colonial was a great deal and great location. Esp. if you're in No. Conway when it's crowded and you can avoid that traffic jam that always happens on the main drag. The room was clean and big, always good to have a fridge, bathroom was also clean and big with good products and ok towels. We did have quite the issue with the shower. If you took a 5 min shower, you were okay. Otherwise, the hot and cold water went nuts fluctuating. We reported that to the owner who I assume was going to take care of it. Being a motel, you do have the chance of loud people next to you or smoking outside which is a drag but that's expected.

Wonderful Motel Inn

Spotlessly clean both bathroom and bedroom with a desk, desk chair, sofa chair, television, bureau. More than adequate room space unless you are bringing your whole house with you. :-). Lots of towels, toiletries and hot water at any hour. Very comfortable bed. Nice little fridge and microwave oven. Best of all a little balcony/porch with two chairs and table looking out the back onto the gardens and pool. I did not, though I had access to, but did see many guests at the pool and using the bbq. My room was in the front, adjacent to the office and facing the main road. Very little traffic noise at night. Parking right outside each room door - perfect! They do offer coffee in the morning in the main office - which I did not have. Absolutely wonderful staff. Stayed two nights over Memorial Day weekend. Convenient spot for hikes, shopping, restaurants. Definitely would stay again.

I've been with IHG for a long while Diamond whatever it is now... Arrival: key card said room 120.. up and down the first floor like an idiot looking for room 120 which in the end DOESN'T EVEN EXIST! back to front desk...ooh room 129 she tells me. Drag our bags to room 129.. key doesn't work. (Must have been made for invisible room 120). Back to desk... new keys they work. Drop bags an leave. 8:00pm return.. people sitting in pickup in parking lot at 430pm still there.. smoke rolling out windows. (I got a contact high from 50 feet away) We sit on bed and eat our ice cream... go to put remaining ice cream in freezer.. there is a can of ready whip and a container of food already in there. Sticky mess on the night stand. Piss around the base of the toilet Dried white globs of toothpaste in front of sink Change rooms. No hand towels and no hairdryer.

School House Inn

The School House Inn gets its name from the historic main building that served as one of the original elementary schools in North Conway, circa 1890-1923. Two large additions and five cottages were built in 1964 and the property was transformed into the School House Inn. After nearly six decades in business, the School House Inn is one of the oldest running motels in North Conway, and an area landmark along White Mountain Highway. We are conveniently located in the center of North Conway, 1 mile south of North Conway Village and 1 mile north of Settler's green. We are in walking distance or a short drive to many great restaurants, and only a short drive to all the attractions that the Mount Washington Valley has to offer. This property is open seasonally from mid-May through mid-November. Please visit with us soon !!

Simply put this is simply a nice place to stay. It has quite a bit of character and history to it. It is located squarely in the middle of North Conway and is close to all the attraction. The room was clean, and small but comfortable. The staff was overly friendly and attentive and made my stay a pleasure.

Great surprise!

I expected a standard, older, bit down at heel motel. Instead I got a very nicely redecorated, reappointed upper end room with most of the details of a much fancier hotel room. Loved my super quiet corner room with its back balcony!! Super clean, very comfy bed, good quality towels, redone bathroom with a shower head with some kick. Great little find.

First off the cleanliness of this place needs work! Stains on bed covers and the place in a whole needs a good cleaning! The main problem was i booked 5 rooms received 2 confirmations stating so and after a 6 1/2 hour drive to get there i arrive and they say i have 4 rooms booked! With it impossible to come up with another location with 5 rooms at 5:00 in the afternoon we stayed! after the location failed to price match another double room queen size beds for $170, they came up with 2 single rooms queen size for $119 each! costing the 2 people sharing the room an extra $70 for the night stay! asking to speak to a manager was told there is no manager till monday morning, mind you this is saturday afternoon! upon returning home and trying to fix this $70 overcharge i have heard nothing! thanks for nothing! i will never stay here or recommend this dump to anyone!
