Bourgeois 1900’s house that is located on the heights of Vernet-les-Bains’ village. 2 beautiful bedrooms, with yesteryear decor and charm, on the 1st floor and opening onto a wide panorama. Two bedrooms each have an adjoining bathroom or shower as well as toilets. The 4000m2 wooded park is enclosed by walls which surround the house. An old pond has been made into a pool. Enclosed parking in the property.
Quirky, quaint and quality!
Reviewed By 10chris02We were there for a couple of nights and really enjoyed them. As given in the title, it is a bit quaint and quirky but also oozes quality. The house is filled with art from the bizarre to the beautiful as were the many artefacts scattered throughout and also in our bedroom. The bedroom itself was quite large as was the bathroom and both offered everything we needed. There was also a small balcony which afforded great views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. The proprietor also provided us ‘Brits’ with a kettle so we could have a ‘cuppa’ as and when. Breakfast is shared with other guests, there being quite a selection but surprisingly no cheese or ham, as normally seen in most French hotels and B and Bs. The stay was also made more pleasurable by the staff and especially Jean Francois who, with a bit of Franglais, added to our stay. So, thanks a lot!

Reviewed By odayzayThis bed and breakfast is in a central location and offers secure car parking.The hosts were very helpful and served a good breakfast. Our room was comfortable and warm. However, the stairs and flight of steps from the car park were rather steep and it would be a real challenge for an elderly person with limited mobility. It was good value for money. The owner prefers cash or cheque and does not accept cards. There is a cash point nearby.

Reviewed By Gabriela TThe appartment was clean and had all we needed, The "Spa" is very poor, just a sauna and small jacuzzi. They say the swimmingpool was heated but in September it's not...it's freezing. The location is great for long walks in the woods or up the mountains, even with young kids. I might recommend visiting during warmer season as they have 2 swimmingpools.

Reviewed By 156herminegInmitten eines schönen Gartens, der von zahlreichen Vögeln ( Pirole!), Eichhörnchen und anderen auch seltenen Tieren besucht wird, bieten Andy und Rosie eine komfortable Unterkunft. Der Pool ist hervorragend gepflegt und so groß, dass man wirklich schwimmen kann. Das Frühstück ist üppig, jeder unserer Wünsche wurde erfüllt. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben, das Kümmern besonders von Rosie. Sie versorgte uns mit vielen Informationen zu Restaurants und Ausflugszielen. Wir haben in der Umgebung viel gesehen und bestens gegessen! Dank an die beiden für die Gastfreundschaft. Good bye und auf Wiedersehen!
