Dirty Room !!

Condition of the hotel has been degrading rapidly in the past few years to the point I will no longer be staying there. Room was dirty. Room was obviously a previous smoking room, and it stank like cigarettes. Cigarette burns in the furniture and bedding. Mirror and TV looked like they were wiped down with a dirty wet rag and not dried. There was a piece of French fry on the floor under foot of bed as well as other food and garbage debris on the floor, obviously not vacuumed. Carpet Stained as well. Bathroom floor was dirty, especially at the corners, obviously not vacuumed or mopped. Several long black hairs on the bathroom floor and tub. Food debris in the coffee maker tray, and coffee maker was full of water. Is understandable that a hotel becomes outdated over time, but there is no excuse for room to be dirty. I also stayed here 1 month earlier, that room was a bit cleaner, but still not to BW standards, an there was damage to the walls in that room that were patched and not painted. I will be surprised if this hotel manages to hold onto the Best Western name for the remainder of the year. Stay at the Hampton Inn instead of BW.

Reviewed By Suzanne GThis was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. I would definitely not recommend staying at this hotel. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was clean. (Thus 2stars) However, When I initially reserved over the phone, we discussed a King suite as we had four adults staying in the room. When we got there in the middle of the night we were surprised to see it was just a standard king room. The girl at the desk told us that the room was given out as there was a funeral in town. We were then given a two queen bed room which was good for us. They also said that they would decrease the rate for our inconvenience-as well as the fact that it is not a suite as originally reserved.Imagine my surprise when we came checked out that our rate went up $55 more per night. I spoke with the manager who decreased the rate for one night and left the higher rates posted. Unfortunately we had to travel to this hotel because we were in for a sickness of a family member. Both my husband and I travel often for work and We will definitely not be traveling under Hampton again.

Housekeeping brought us more linens as needed. The bedroom & bathroom & bedding was clean, no mold or bugs. A/C, microwave & refrigerator all in working condition. No breakfast served nor was it expected, not a B&B. Just a clean sleeping room. We're not connected to owners or managers in any way. Just read the reviews and am so grateful that that was not our experience. Would definitely stay again.

Reviewed By Mdaddy46Wow! What a fun place to stay. Very quiet and a very friendly staff! The manager is super friendly! Loved the breakfast in the mornings. Always a variety of healthy and comfort! The rooms were very spacious. I also loved the Socials that they do during the week. No pool, but a nice patio when it's not winter.
