Lanas Beach Resort is located on the west side of Carabao Island, just half an hour boat ride from Boracay Island. We have 8 rooms, all offering airconditioning, separate bathrooms and all have a balcony or terrace with sea views. We have an onsite restaurant - Lanas Lounge - which serves local and international cuisine.

Reviewed By JustJyvI stayed here from Dec 26th 2021 to January 6th 2022. I was lucky (or not) that i am the only guest they actually catered during my stay. There were a couple of families who visited the place but they only were there for day use of the pool. The whole place is huge and there's so much to explore. The rooms (villas & cabanas) are gorgeous and cozy. The staff (especially Jisrelle in the reception) are nice and their housekeeping team are all very accommodating to requests. If there's a disadvantage that i was their only guest was that they have limited menu, and PAG-ASA declared a no-sail gale warning from Dec 30 to Jan 5 so the island didn't have much fresh supplies for the NY. Aside from that, there was a recent typhoon which affected their wifi/internet in the resort & the island so it's hard to have a stable connection & wasn't possible to work from there.

I would one thousand percent recommend this gem to everyone I know and anyone that is traveling to paradise on Karabao Island. We arrived by their personal speed boat from Boracay Island (took about 20-25ish mins) the transfer and accommodation at The Beach House was incredible! At our arrival we were welcomed with fresh warm hand towel and a yummy cocktail. The staff was welcoming and so lovely. We had a private beach to ourselves and enjoyed snorkeling 40ft from outside of our beach view room. For anyone that is looking for a restful, quiet, on the beach stay this place will not disappoint. Ooo and the food! It was all made to order, authentic and delicious! David and all of the amazing staff family made my experience unforgettable.

Reviewed By Des WThis is a great location and right on the beach, I ate here everyday with a menu to suit every taste, from traditional Filipino food to fish and chips. I had Chicken Cordon Bleu and would highly recommend it. Drink price are very reasonable and above all the staff and owner are great and very sociable. i have never stayed here, but everyone I spoke to who has, spoke highly of it. Highly recommend for a great vacation.

Rundown and deserted
Reviewed By travelella2020Honestly, I’d love to say something nice about this place but I just can’t. The resort is owned by a family who were pleasant enough, however not particularly friendly or welcoming. It is clear that once this place was quite nice and busy however the recent typhoons have unfortunately damaged a lot of the resort, leaving it looking neglected and rundown. There was no WiFi and also pretty much no signal. The room we stayed in really was vile and we felt so uncomfortable sleeping in the sheets that we actually slept in our sleeping bag liners - not what I would expect for the price we paid. The bathroom we were allocated was dirty and lacking running water - my boyfriend attempted a shower and had to abandon the idea as soon as he turned it on as he realised there was no way he could lather anything up in the drips coming out. We had to catch a ferry early the next day from Santa Fe port, which was the purpose of our stay there. We asked the owners if we could order transport for 5.30am the next morning and she told us that was no problem. We woke up and checked out like we arranged at 5.30am, however they actually didn’t order the transport to come until 6am so we were left waiting with no apology or communication of their mistake. This place has the potential to be lovely, but they really need to work hard to make it something. Starting with WiFi and some bleach.
