Reviewed By manchetravellingWe were on our way to a funeral near Lac de Guerladan, Brittany and stayed a this hotel for 1 night. Not the friendliest of welcomes by the manager as we must have disturbed his afternoon siesta. We were invited by friends to their house for dinner and asked for the code for entry to the parking. It closed at 9pm on the dot, and it was suggested we park on the street if we came back later. The reason we'd chosen the Hotel was for the secure parking as our car did not have a hard roof. We took a taxi there and back which cost over E120!. The breakfast was expensive and we would not stay here again, mainly because of the early closure and this was in high season. Not very welcoming at all.

The receptionist was very helpful, and on learning we were hoping for an evening meal, quickly popped next door to the neighbouring restaurant to arrange a table for us. The meal there was wonderful. Our room was clean ,well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Super fresh with plenty of choice including some locally produced yoghurts. Again the service was very friendly. Plenty of space in the hotel car park. A perfect stopover place, we will stay again and happily recommend.

The rooms are large and comfortable with good showers The garden was a beautiful spot to enjoy a beer after a long cycle ride We hope to return!

A better than Average Ibis Budget

Room was clean & quiet, security a little suspect as it's busy with contractors staying and they were leaving fire escapes open after the staff had finished so they & friends could come and go as they please. Didn't have breakfast, I've previously found their breakfasts far too expensive for what is included so went to McDonalds. Strange thing I did notice was toilet walls are Aertex... not great for keeping clean !

Draps, sols, douches, toilettes, rien à redire! L'auberge est aussi située au coeur du centre ville sur les bords du canal près d'un parc avec des tables de pique nique. Très pratique!On peut commander son p'tit dej ou emmener ce qu'il faut pour tout preparer soit-meme sur place.Je recommande vraiment!

The castle hotel is located downtown across from the convention center and near the Château des Rohan. We enjoy and ample free parking. Rooms feature a powerful WIFI, TV 32 '', BEIN sport, BBC, euronews, etc ... The hotel has an elevator You can relax in the hotel bar.

Reviewed By elo485When we arrived, the landlord (lady) made us feel unpleasant, at once. When we left, her husband was much nicer. We couldn't help but thinking about this first contact during our stay in this hotel. No smile, it's a pitty.

Reviewed By GeoffyccHotel has a modern feel. Spacious double room with comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Downside no tea or coffee making facilities in room . Also no coffee machine in reception. If you need to charge your phone there are no sockets at the bedside and only one in the room.

Reviewed By bleunvenn11Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable. La chambre est spacieuse avec un joli lit à baldaquin. Très bien situé dans le centre ville la maison est sûrement ancienne pour le peu vu et a beaucoup de cachet. Accueil sympathique et hôtes discrets. Le petit déjeuner était très bien. Si on repasse par Pontivy on y retournera.
