Reviewed By Navigate28595432122This hotel really has everything you need, excellent restaurant, secure parking, swimming pool and comfortable rooms. We stayed here last night, our two children had single sofa beds that were almost like proper beds very comfortable with clean sheets etc. The grounds of the hotel are spotless with lovely grass areas and trees making it very peaceful and quiet at night. We had a drink outside on terrace and had dinner in the restaurant, I had the lamb husband had the port both lovely my son had the beef and daughter had the tuna all excellent. Service in the restaurant and reception was perfect the staff look after their guests very well. Can’t wait to return when we are next in France , thank you

Reviewed By W5WPHThis hotel is located in the centre of Fontenay le Comte. It benefits from free parking to rear of hotel and good breakfast in the morning. Good quality food. Rooms a very comfortable and clean. Limited English spoken at hotel, but managed well in spite of my limited French. Reasonable price.

Reviewed By Claire and John HI have never been treated to such great breakfasts. Dany bakes every day and it is out of this world. Home made yoghurt, fresh fruit, brioché, home made jams and be completely blown away by the lemon tarts, flan and a wonderful fruit crumble. Dany is most welcoming and if you are in the area it really is the place to choose. The house is full of fabulous furniture and art. A real natural gem and not a ‘creation’.

The disabled room up 17 steps....
Reviewed By John Tand at the far end. Despite making the request for disabled room with double bed 1 week in advance was given a room on the upper floor, ....no lift....39 metres from the staircase, and with twin beds. There were no facilities whatsoever for disabled guests. The bathroom so narrow that it is impossible to turn round. Even had I been able to msnoever onto the wc I doubt there would have been room to use it. The staff at check in explained that this was the only free room, with little dympsyhy for my predicament

Un accueil chaleureux, inconnus et pourtant a notre aise au sein de cette demeure atypique, en bonne compagnie. Nous étions, et vous serez des âmes choyées. La maison vous racontera son histoire, laissez vous prendre par les poésies des livres, mobiliers et tableaux qui animent les lieux. Merci aux hôtes. Élise et tilemann.

Reviewed By 794laurenceqAccueil simple Chambre suite qui ne correspond pas au descriptif. Pas de salle de bain et toilette attenantes. Au bout du couloir. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas compris. Le prix est excessif 115 euros pour des non prestations. Le cadre sympathique et calme Personnellement nous n'y reviendrons pas. Peut-être trop exigent du fait de notre expérience sur la France des hôtels et chambres d'hôtes.
