We live less than 2 hours away but decided to stay as we wanted a fun pool time during kids thanksgiving break. I booked it the morning of, so could not cancel. The sales person did not tell us the pool was out of service. We were told when we arrived we had to use next door pool. A cheaper hotel. I also was told I had a suite. The only difference was the addition of a pull out bed. Not impressed. It's very cold, rainy, and my kids do not want to go out in the mess again! We'd rather have stayed home and saved our money for another 'less rainy day' for when the pool did work. There was no warning online. So, pathetic.

Reviewed By luvsmokiesWe stayed here a few years and don’t remember the room being this bad. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Badly needs an update. Carpet stained. Why use white duvet covers if you’re going to continue to use them stained? I asked for a replacement and it was stained too. Towels were threadbare and all the pillows were crunched up and extremely lumpy. Lighting was poor and water pressure low. I will not stay at this best western again.

Dangerously hot shower, no ice.

What you'll notice on arrival if you take Orleans into the hotel is you'll pass Coldwater Inn which is even dumpier and looks like it caters to the local meth community as regulars. Quality inn on the other hand in no pleasure palace either. Coffee in the lobby ICE cold . the AC/Heat in the room is a portable SPT air con vented into the atrium and the heat didn't work, then the shower is a bit odd, in that there are no markings on the fixture and you have to pull out then adjust the temp but and lift the thing on the tub faucet to get the water to divert to the shower head but God help you if you mistakenly turned the shower temp towards the hot side before pulling on the fixture.......It is Blisteringly hot, so if you have little kids, or if there's a person in that room that doesn't sense temperature changes as rapidly as a normal person might ....BE very CAREFUL that you don't get scaled. Otherwise my car didn't get broken into. So that's a plus...but forget about using the ice machines once you're burned by the shower, they don't work and the breakfast is mostly a cold miserable caricature of a real breakfast at Holiday inn or Hampton inn... Nothing hot except for the waffler, no eggs , no meat, not microwave jimmy dean Covid biscuits , nothing appealing except maybe some Yogurt and the Nescafe coffee maker in the breakfast area makes bad coffee. I did toss a note to customer service at Choice about the very hot shower as I wanted this to be addressed on the franchisee level , since it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. .. they first tossed me 5000 points , then upped it to their "final offer" of 8000 points . So that stay if they are true to their word and credit me some points cost me 8,000 Still not worth it . If you're going south on 69 make it to Angola or Auburn. Heck they even have a penguin point burger in those towns.

Reviewed By Brittany LI did not expect much for the $44 I paid for the room, but it was a nice place. It was clean & the beds were comfortable. We had cable TV, mini fridge, microwave, & table & chairs all included in the room/price. Staff was friendly. I left to get food & there were plenty of options all within a 1 minute distance of the motel. Well worth the $ spent.

Reviewed By CraigE620First, this is an inexpensive motel that was clean. Gentleman working the front desk was very nice. Many of the surfaces are in desperate need of replacement. Room was big. Has refrigerator, microwave, TV, and good WiFi. No coffee maker. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Could hear all movement upstairs. Common areas smell of smoke.
