Poor Lighting and Hard Mattress
Reviewed By WonderingNutIt’s a nice enough hotel but the rooms are so dark. They need to get rid of the tinted lampshades that make the rooms dark and that also applies to the bathroom. It’s difficult to put on makeup on when it’s so dimly lite. The lights should be facing down giving ample illumination not up. And as for a good nights sleep that’s hard when you’re sleeping on what seems like an extra firm mattress.

Hotel stay for a working employee out of town
Reviewed By rikonotsuaveVery helpful and welcoming at the office , got a room for a week for an employee and ended up not staying for the full week and manager was very helpful and accommodating ended up paying for the days used and gave me back the unused days .. will definitely use again when needed also very reasonable price for room off Sunnyside !!

Good, but has some room for improvement
Reviewed By steveman2015Stayed here for more than a week, here are the pros and cons. Pros: Staff is super nice and friendly. Especially the staff that works the restaurant in the lobby - they went out of their way to provide great service with a smile. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Costco, the mall, and tons of restaurants. There were booths with indiviual tvs, which were nice to sit and eat or just hang out. In addition, they have a great workout room. Cons: Our room had some mold on the bathroom ceiling, the fan on the ceiling was absolutely disgusting, and the room just didn't feel clean - the draperies were so dusty too. If I asked at the desk for towels or anything else, and they weren't handed to me in that moment, we would never get them. It was a real pain to continue to ask for trash bags, cups, washcloths, etc. I realize covid has allowed the hotels to reduce their services, but it seems like there has to be a better solution! In addition, for some reason this area had a lot of people just dumping their trash in the parking lot or in random places on the property. It would sit for days before being noticed. No free breakfast, and you had to pay even for tea and coffee. Overall, the hotel was good, but I'd choose another place to stay if back in the area. After this we moved to a nicer hotel which was less per night, and had all the extras and free breakfast to boot.

Racism from the hotel front desk
Reviewed By Nchurch5First of all let me start by this. We stay all over the country and book hundreds of rooms a year so we get to see how different places treat different guests. This morning 9/26 at 6:45am-7am my worker Bernie who we booked the room for was getting breakfast. The lady working for the hotel singled him out and said he wasn't a guest and couldn't get food. He said he was and even told her the room number and key. Again because he's of Hispanic accent she proceeded to need to call the room to verify he was staying there. I just got off the phone with her to file a complaint. She claims no manager was in but they would call me. The problem is because he wasn't white he was singled out and questioned getting breakfast while other people didn't. She doesn't seem to see the issue with this. Bernie was and still is very upset Avoid this hotel unless you want to be a victim of racism!!!!

Reviewed By shannonmO165SEMy family picked this particular place to stay because we have stayed here in the past and had good experiences. HOWEVER, this time was FAR from good. We rented 2 rooms and this is what we encountered. The doors to the rooms didn't close unless you grabbed the door and yanked them closed hard. OUR FIRST ROOM: The bathroom was very dirty. No washcloths, 1 bath towel for a room that should sleep 4 people. The entry light didn't work at all. Curtains didn't close. Fridge didn't work, TV looked like if you touched it a great crash would occur. OUR SECOND ROOM: The toilet had a seat that moved when you sat on it. dirty pillows. The alarm clock was broken. The desk chair sank if you sat on it. The curtains didn't close and were even falling off the window. Beyond the 2 issues with the rooms the whole time we were there (a week) the public restroom in the lobby was NEVER cleaned, Walking down the interior hallway you could smell cigarette or cigar smoke as if someone had smoked in the building/rooms (last I knew ALL MOTELS are smoke free now). Then there were the OSHA violations that my husband and I both saw (i.e. elevator issues, mold to just name 2) Definitely do not recommend to ANYONE if you value your health and safety
