Reviewed By ZantinoOpposite the entrance o the old town, behind the Office de Tourisme, the location is excellent. Easy parking on site. Rooms slightly dated, in need of a little smartening up, but quite adequate. The service and attitude of the staff is below standard. Instead of ‘celebrating’ their location and welcoming guests as their entire ‘raison d’être’, there is a tangible flatness, bordering on indifference, to their clientele. This was noticeable both in reception and in the restaurant. It’s a pity, because the experience could have been a lot more pleasant if the staff just made a bit more effort.

Reviewed By Ali SA great location but a little tired. The idea of silver service by waiters in slightly grubby ( once white) shirts and bow ties is somewhat silly. The food was good but a little cold and the overall feel was one of boredom from the wait staff. I would go again for the location and the house special of perch and fries was tasty- expensive but large portions.

This is a beautiful hotel and restaurant, the staff are amazing and helpful. Such a lovely restful place, I wanted to stay longer than our 2 nights, so that means I'll have to go back one day! We had a room in the new part by the pool and our car was safely parked outside the hotel. Unfortunately we missed eating dinner in the hotel restaurant as they close Sunday and Monday, however we were very well received at the Hotel du Port, their other restaurant. Another reason to return then so we can eat in the Hotel Restaurant! The spa looks amazing even though I didn't really have much time to use it. What a lovely retreat, thank you so much - this is how it should be done!

We were the only people staying in the hotel off season and they were kind to open the restaurant for us at night and very patient with the fact that we speak very little French. Maison d'hôtes au bord du lac Léman à 20 métres du port,au cœur du village de Nernier. Très bien située entre Genève,Evian,Yvoire et les stations de ski. Accessible par l'aéroport de Genève. Ou en bateau,Nyon,Lausanne.
A little quirky
Reviewed By Bobcat605This is a nice old house in a really pretty and unspoilt village. It's just a step away from the lake and a good little swimming beach. Although the room was large, with a separate sitting area plus large bathroom it was rather spoilt by intrusive plumbing noises in the sink every time the toilet was flushed in the next room, followed by an awful smell. We did mention it to Madame who said she would put something down the sink to kill the smell and that the whole of Nernier has plumbing problems. Madame was quite charmingly scatty as was her dog, Luna. The decor was quirky in an arty sort of way. Breakfast was very mediocre. Good wifi. Although this is a traffic free village one can bring the car in to unload (ask her) and then park in a large public carpark a five minute walk away.
