Bad experience
Reviewed By MaartenPGWe had booked a room directly with the hotel clearly indicating that we came with two people, and there was no issue reported during check-in. Then when we checked out the hotel claimed we had to pay an additional €35 because the room was only for one person. It was somewhere in the small print. Even though we made clear that from all correspondence it was clear we came with two people, the receptionist forced us pay the additional €35 which made it more expensive than a booking through booking.com. On top of this, the air conditioning was not functioning well, which required us to open the window to a loud street. As a result, my wife only had three hours of sleep. We will never get back to this hotel.

Not to be recommended
Reviewed By Daina BThe furniture, and especially the bathroom, are outdated. The internet does not work in the rooms upstairs. The only place where it works is in a dark corner of the reception, but if you sit there for too long, the hotel proprietor will shut off the internet also there - just to let you know it's time to move on. There is nothing to see on television and the bathroom smells of gasoline. If you are looking for a cheerful atmosphere and a friendly attitude, don't come to this hotel.

Fabulous Accommodation
Reviewed By Adam BThis was our first stay at Nommerlayen and it did not disappoint. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was very clean on arrival. It was well equipped with utensils etc for cooking and there was a lovely outside area for sunbathing and meals outside. We travelled with two young boys (6 and 8) and they loved it there especially the pools and the large otudoor slide. Staff at the bar were very friendly and helpful especially when one of our party was stung they were very proactive at administering first aid and offering support. Could not fault our stay at Nommerlayen - a lovely base from which to explore Luxembourg.
