We were left in the middle of nowhere despite our agreement
Reviewed By Vilija DWe are traveling in Troms and Finnmark, got stuck on a way, and needed to find a hotel late in the evening. Finnsnes gaard told they had a room for us and would send a link for payment. We kept driving for one hour, and got worried when we did not get the link from them. We called them, they did not pick up. We sent a sms, to which we got "we are fully booked now". A nasty message to get in the middle of nowhere, especially that we missed one hour for looking for alternatives. Very dishonest and ruthless behaviour by Finnses Gaard. Luckily, Sørreisa hotel accepted us at short notice, the receptionist waited for us after closing time, and we are now enjoying an upgraded room with a perfect view here.

Nice, but small rooms, high price
Reviewed By SmuariThe hotel is nice and presentable, with well refurbished rooms and large, nice bathrooms. The size of the rooms, however may be very small. I had booked a double room to have some space for repacking. The room I got at arrival, was so small, i could hardly open my suitcase. The front desk first told me they had even smaller double rooms, but eventually managed to have me moved to a much larger room the next day. First they were willing to reduce the price, but because I had booked through Hotels.com, that was impossible. All in all, service minded front desk, nice rooms, but many of them very small.

Vi ventet en time før vi kjekket in på nytt, da vi endelig kom inn på rommet var det første som møtte oss en sky med røyklukt. Vi ringte hotelpersonell og fikk forklart at det nettopp har bodd en man der i 2 måneder og røyket inn rommet. Heldigvis fikk vi nytt rom, men låsen funket ikke som den skal.

It has changed style
Reviewed By tiaNorwayI have been to this hotel that now has changed name to Senja hotel before. The rooms have been redecorated to a more modern style.I really liked that. The rooms have a good size. The breakfast is in the bar. The breakfast is good.Actually it was quite cosy to have breakfast in the bar, The staff is very friendly.

Perfect stay!!!
Reviewed By ArianeL66We stayed for two nights. The room is a little cabin with view on the fjord. The bathroom can be shared if a group is renting the other cabin but it wasn’t the case for us and we had the bathroom for us alone. It is very clean, nicely decorated and new. The place is very calm and the view is fantastic! The owner is also very nice and indicated us a nice trail starting from Skaland. We really had a perfect stay and were sad to leave!

Reviewed By livbakkebyFint sted å være for noen dager.Rom med køyesenger og en enkel seng.Stort bad på rommet.Vi var tre personer og hadde hele stedet for oss selv.Vi laget vår egen mat her,hadde kjøkkenet ved siden av rommet vårt,stort oppholdsrom med bl.a biljard.Fri wifi på hele anlegget.Veldig kort avstand til Finnsnes og Senja.
