Faded glory
Reviewed By patten36The town is wonderful, the location of the hotel is superb. However this property has the air of faded glory and is in need of an upgrade. The rooms are tired, the "jacuzzi" area looks like a bad joke (check out the light show). The staff was friendly though and the bar area was nice. If you can get a great deal, it's fine, otherwise skip it.

Le Petit Chou is a charming and romantic Chambres d'hotes with four delightful bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. Downstairs there is a bustling little Salon de The which serves homemade products from ice-cream, cakes, tarts, scones etc. And a gambit of healthy savoury lunches.

Reviewed By GavinC834Booked into Le Petit Chou as part of a cycle trip to Marseille. The owner kindly let us store our bikes inside the restaurant that was closed at the time. The room was very roomy and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was fresh with a great selection of jams and teas. It was nice to stay in a unique B&B rather than a soulless hotel. The owner spoke good English which was greatly appreciated.

Reviewed By davidgO8765WPOn a bike tour from the north to the south of France staying in a mixture of hotels and chambres d’hotes each night for 22 days this was the best place we stayed in France. The evening meal which I highly recommend was spent with the other guests and the hosts Sandra and Xavier round the huge kitchen table. The meal was perfect and we felt like we were made very welcome by all the other guests. I strongly recommend you stay in this beautifully restored old Manor House.

Reviewed By Seekingsun25We booked this hotel last minute and we were trying to escape the awful place we had stayed in the night before! The lovely owner allowed us to check in early and was super helpful. Decor is outdated and the carpet in the bathroom needs to go asap however overall the place was really great - especially for the price. Loads of facilities available to use. We also ate in the restaurant attached (got a table on the terrace) and the food was really wonderful. Overall really happy with our stay here.

Reviewed By GeeJay9Our room and en suite were clean and the bed comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's sleep despite the absence of a/c. The set breakfast consisted of a croissant and a small selection of local toasts, together with coffee and juice which, at €9, did not represent good value for what was supplied. There is secure parking available and a restaurant, although we chose to eat at the nearby Hotel du Lion d'or (see review). At €55 for a double room in July the cost was reasonable, but all in all this was an unexciting and unmemorable overnighter.

Friendly hotel!
Reviewed By GeeorgeHMy wife and I have just spent a lovely week at this family run hotel. Our room was inexpensive, simple and clean with a view out onto the square. This was a perfect base for us to go out and explore the AMAZING countryside around Entraygues. The owner Eric and his lovely daughter ( who speaks a fair bit of English! ) were very helpful and friendly. Decent food and lots of cold beers! Can't wait to go back :-)
