A reasonably priced onsen hotel in the Toyako area
Reviewed By elmostoneyBecause we were a party of five, our options were quite limited in looking for something reasonably priced with good quality. Many accommodations only take up to 4 people per room. 湯元 ホロホロ山荘 has good sized Japanese rooms to take all five of us. I started to check for place right next to the lake, but better ones are very expensive and often, their meals aren't as well rated. 湯元 ホロホロ山荘 achieves a good balance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Meals are buffet style, with a help-yourself-barbecue. Varieties not amazing, but food quality and freshness commendable. The onsen is quite big for a mid-sized hotel. It has the usual sauna, outdoor onsen and indoor variations. The hotel has a free shuttle to another onsen, but we didn't go. Although it's not next to the lake, it's just a short drive away. It's not a place to wow a guest, but I would recommend staying here if you don't want to pay too much for a lakeside accommodation.

Reviewed By victoriatravel86The surroundings of this hotel is packed with lush greenery, weather rather cooling and the public bath is to go for. Dinner and breakfast were inclusive in this package and the room itself was huge as compared to the regular city places. reception service was mediocre, whilst we found the service staff at the restaurant to be more friendly. This hotel is kids friendly, nonetheless the area was huge enough to have that bit of quietness and zen for yourself.

Reviewed By 398MarcoSThis place really has it all. It is paradise. The Onsen is wonderful, one of the best ones I have ever run across throughout Japan. Huge, to say the least, with tubs and pools everywhere, of different shapes and sizes; a cold and hot sauna, a comfortable changing room and all the amenities you can possibly think of. But the best part comes when you venture outside, regardless of the cold, to dive into one of the many outside pools, running free on the wooden paths in the midst of the forest as you try the dark green - musky flavored tub and you linger there long enough to muster enough heat and venture in the cold whether before splashing in the milky white – barrique flavored tub. Inside the hotel features beautiful, spacious rooms, two amenities stores, a library where you can also listen to music, a huge public place where you can rest, numerous restaurants of very high standards and a complimentary shuttle bus that will drive you from and to Sapporo at the North Exit of the JR Station. Most people only get here with the evening bus arriving at 4PM and leave the following day at 10AM. Too short a stay, big mistake! Stay two nights, enjoy the Onsen early in the morning when almost everyone is busy packing, and take your time to enjoy a wonderful massage from an experienced therapist. One of the best experiences throughout my stay in Japan. Oh… pictures inside the Onsen are strictly forbidden. Apologies, I could not resist; and it was early morning, I was alone in the Onsen when I snapped a couple of shots!

My friend Pasupati and myself stay at Hotel Royal Highness in Ahmedabad on official visit in the month of March for 2 nights and 3 days After an hour of trouble from really bad rickshaw drivers of Ahmedabad and travelling the different states of India we checking into the relax, clean Hotel and it is a cut above the rest. For a start the service is impeccable and we were brought highly greetings and welcome from the doormat and receptions immediately on arrival checked-in at 8:30 A, M. without any questions. As I have been waiting to got check-in after 12:00 P. M in Lucknow, Pune and Mumbai. Our room was very clean, airy and and specious. The staff are trained to high standards service. Another bonus is the hotel is located on a easy connectives of Train station, Bus Station and Airport as well as corporate offices and shooing mahals. Than you the team members of Hotel Royal Highness. Succession plz stop paying dalali to Taxi and rickshaw drivers.

Reviewed By ytdosan立地：新千歳空港から100分～120分位かな、登別から60分位。 スタッフ：おかみさんがいい人、ご主人もみるからに優しい感じ。 食事：口コミどおり、夕食はたくさんのおかずとボリューム感、味もいい！ 時間通り食堂に行けば天ぷらもアツアツの物が食べられます。 温泉：温泉の蛇口と水道の蛇口で温度調節は自身で出来ます、ぬるめでも良く暖まる透明＆あまり臭わない泉質。コンパクトな浴槽だが十分、洗い場四人分有り。 設備：ブラウン管テレビ（地デジチューナーをケーブルで接続）、トイレ共同（洗浄便座付で綺麗、同じ室内に男女の個室が薄い板一枚で隣なので気になる人はいるでしょう）、畳新品、そば殻枕（好きです）、浴衣、歯みがきセット、タオル小、ハンガー。 すごい優しい顔してる 犬 が 一匹いました☆ やさしい気持ちになれる 宿 です！！

Not worth the money
Reviewed By mariannetakesyouWe went there and was surprised to find that the shower room is all the way downstairs. There are no attached bathroom. The heater is not functioning properly when some parts of the room are too hot, and some parts are too cold. In the morning, i really love their breakfast. They will be serving rice and some dishes to eat with. followed by hot coffee. The menu were very healthy. I liked that.
